About The North Face Thermoball:

The North Face ThermoBall jacket has been a fan fave since it first hit the shelves in the early 2010s. It came about as a result of a failed trip to climb the Himalayas by infamous mountaineer, Conrad Anker. What began as a single full zip jacket has now grown into an entire line including boots, parkas, vests, hoodies, and more. Its renowned Primaloft synthetic insulation emulates duck and goose down supplying warmth with a lightweight feel. Don’t be fooled by its quilted, silky smooth shell. This fabric can handle scrapes and scratches thank to incredibly durable polyester fibers. It’s also waterproof thanks to a DWR coating.

The North Face ThermoBall line of apparel and footwear is excellent for temperatures ranging from the mid-fifties Fahrenheit down to the teens. This makes it a superb choice for triclimates as it can be worn as a single layer or bundled up as a midlayer. The hooded parka is great for snowy winter days while the lightweight hoodie is perfect for chilly, early morning hikes. The Thermoball full-zip jacket weighs in at around 12 ounces, making it easy to throw in your daypack as a backup option for extra warmth. You can even compress it down into its lefthand pocket if you need more packing space.

Best of all, The North Face offers a range of sizes to meet the entire family’s needs. The Thermoball outerwear line is available in XS to XXL for men and women and even comes in kids’ sizes for infants and toddlers. It is basically the Goldilocks of lightweight insulated jackets. Whether you want a pullover for layering, a hoodie or extra weather protection, or boots for snuggly warmth in the snow, The North Face’s Thermoball has got you covered.
