Initially, Showers Pass specialized in waterproof and breathable rain gear that was designed for active lifestyles. They employ various waterproof technologies in order to keep you dry, no matter what you’re doing. The Refuge jacket incorporates the 3 layer Elite™ system that protects from wind and water while remaining breathable. This jacket will also help keep you safe and visible: it has plenty of 3M Scotchlite reflective material to make sure you can be seen in all conditions. Our favorite feature, however, is the drop-down tail that protects you from that embarrassing wet butt stripe that comes from road spray while cycling. It’s the addition that we never knew we needed; now we can’t live without it. Speaking of things we can’t live without, we should talk about Showers Pass Crosspoint Waterproof socks. They sandwiched a waterproof, breathable Artex™ Layer between a knit exterior layer and an inner layer for wicking, made of either Merino wool or Coolmax FX fabric. All of this translates to what feels like a regular pair of socks that have the added benefit of keeping your feet dry no matter what you’re doing. You could probably wade a creek in these socks if you wanted to. Although they got their start with jackets, Showers Pass has expanded their gear offerings to include waterproof pants, socks, and gloves; with innovative design ideas throughout.
