| Sandals are shoes for people who want the world to know that everything is going to be alright. Flip-flops, slip-ons, strapped, every sandal presents you with a unique opportunity to free your feet, because when your feet are liberated the rest of you is sure to follow. Did you know that each sandal will produce a totally different sandal tree from the sandal tree it came from? Sandals have to be constantly hybridized to produce a consistent brand. Hold on, that might be apples, which leaves me to wonder what sandalwood is. Throughout history, sandals have been worn by some of the worlds greatest people. Socrates, Plato, Aristotle, were all sandal-wearers. I’m told there is even a character in one of the worlds most popular books who uses his sandals to walk on water. |
