About Climbing and Rescue Pulleys:

You can never have enough climbing pulleys. I started my pulley collection when I was 8, my first was a souvenir from Sea World. None of the pulleys here are shaped like a dolphin but thats ok because dolphin pulleys tend to seize up. These pulleys are more reliable and less adorable, but some of them are still pretty cute.

When you are climbing you need to be able to trust your equipment completely. That’s why you should pick a pulley that is just right for your upcoming climb. Some of the most important factors to consider is what kind of rope you will be using and which pulleys work best with that diameter.

The best pulleys are durable and reliable to the extreme. Seriously, they are pretty important to the whole idea of staying alive while climbing, so you want to have all of the confidence possible. This page doesn’t have any pulleys that I wouldn’t use myself. They are even reliable enough for use in my bizarre Rube Goldberg machine I use to get beers from the fridge at home.

Be safe, get a pulley you can trust so I can rest easier at night. In fact, get a couple just to be extra safe, you know how I hate to worry.
