About Bouldering Crash Pads: |

One of the biggest fears I have when I climbing is falling and landing on something hard. Another one of my fears is finding a hidden cave full of spider people. Bouldering pads don’t help much with the latter but they are an essential piece of safety gear for the former. I love having a pad with soft foam cells that cushion me in the event of the fall, it’s pretty reassuring. Even though they can be collapsed bouldering pads are kind of big. Since its a space investment I try to use my bouldering pad as often as possible. Even when I can’t find the time to go climbing a bouldering pad can still be pretty useful. Lately I’ve been using it to make somersaulting into my bedroom more safe, but I have also used it for filming pratfalls and re enacting that jumper scene from lethal weapon. A bouldering pad is like insurance or a second slice of pizza. Even though you may not always need it, when the time arises you are going to be really glad you have it. Speaking of which, someone just offered up a bunch of free pizza. I got so excited I fell backwards out of my chair. I probably would have sustained some serious injuries except that I had a reliable bouldering pad behind me. That’s just the kind of safety you can expect when you have some of the best bouldering pads in the world. |
