About Bent Metal: |
Bent Metal Binding Works aims to give snowboarders a choice when it comes to bindings. With different models offering varying amounts of stiffness (soft, medium, or stiff), you’re able to choose the snowboard bindings with the right amount of flex for your style of riding. The stiffness is dependent on the type of materials used in the highbacks, such as carbon, urethane, or nylon, as well as the choice of materials that are layered together in the base plates. Speaking of base plates, be sure to check out how rad their graphics are. Even though you can’t see them when you’re strapped in, you’ll know how cool they look and will be totally able to shred the slopes better because of it.
They’ve added a cube on the highbacks that allows for ultra fast and ultra easy adjustment of the forward lean on the bindings, meaning you can change it on the fly without any tools. Whether you’re a freestyle rider or more of an all mountain type, Bent Metal has designed the pivot disks to work with either the 2x4 or Channel™ mounting systems, so there’s a pretty good chance they’ll work with your current board. Bent Metal also made sure that the straps slide securely and easily into the lightweight forged aluminum buckles. And since they’re available in different sizes, these bindings are able to accommodate a large range of foot sizes. When Bent Metal combined all these features, the result was a high-performance snowboard binding that is light, responsive, and durable: pretty ideal no matter the conditions. |
