Rated 3 out of 5 by Jane from I really wanted to like these I bought these because they looked so cute and normally barefoot shoes are pretty plain and boring. Shipping was good, they arrived in perfect condition. They are super ugly, the toe box is much more narrow than any barefoot shoe of any type should be. They pinch around the top of my foot and I know I ordered the right size because I got measured specifically so I knew what to order. They are very loose around the ankle and the strap provided to tighten them does not hold the tension for long so eventually my heel starts sliding around and the shoes get floppy in the back. I really wanted to love these shoes, especially since I'm relatively new to zero drop and barefoot shoes and I need a cold weather pair, but these mock moccasins are just not it. Very poorly designed. They are made from decent materials I would expect them to hold up to daily moderate use, so that saves them from a lower rating.

XERO SHOES FIT NOTES
-All of Xero Shoes women's shoes are wider than conventional women's shoes. If you normally wear a larger size to get a wider fit in conventional shoes, you may not have to do that with Xero Shoes.

-Natural materials (like leather or canvas) may stretch during initial wear.

-If you think of your foot as particularly narrow, you can consider ordering a men's style. Many female customers find a great fit in men's styles. Just be sure to adjust the size by 1.5 (for example a men's 7 is the same as a women's 8.5).

-People like different types of fit - some like their toes near the end, others like 1/4 - 1/2 in. of extra space.

SANDALS: Find your usual shoe size on the charts below. For the Z-Trek in particular, try 1 size smaller than your usual size.
