Rated 4 out of 5 by from Solid Boots, Slippery Sole I’ve had a pair of 1000 mile boots for almost 3 years now. My first pair had the vibram sole. This most recent purchase has the leather sole. The leather sole is very slippery. Definitely not a work boot. There is a short break-in period, but it’s manageable if you do it right and start by wearing them for short periods of time. I love the cork footbeds - they conform to your feet and remain comfortable for the long haul.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Sweet boot, just tread lightly… I love this heritage boot by Wolverine. I was debating between this one and the Iron Ranger by Red Wing - I think I would have preferred the other for one simple reason: tread. This boot has slick soles like a cowboy boot. I’m waiting to sip and fall, but at least I’ll look good doing it!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great boots...leather is kinda meh Really like the style and I know Wolverine boots are built super well but after Comparing them to some redwing iron rangers the leather is nowhere near as nice as the RW’s. Feel cheap in comparison and since these boots are actually a bit more expensive I am going to go back to redwings.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice but arrived a bit scuffed and dirty Just a heads up, I did reach out to customer service about the fact that these boots arrived with a couple of small scuffs - one on the outside of the right forefront, and a few small ones on the underside. I also mentioned that the heel cup looked a little worn, and that there seemed to be dust gathered on the boots. Customer service responded that they'd look into it and that was about the end of it. No follow up. I ended up with the boots as I had very little time to pack and return with a looming deployment the next week. Nice boots but I won't purchase from MJ again...
