Last updated January 1st, 2020
Opting-in to Moosejaw Rewards:
All users must accept these terms and conditions and create an account with Moosejaw to opt-in to the program and earn, accrue, retain and redeem Moosejaw Reward Dollars (MJ$). The program is FREE to join and membership is ongoing until or unless the user requests to be removed or is removed due to abuse of the program. Users can opt-in to the program while checking out on Moosejaw.com or at one of our stores or at any time within 30 days of purchase to accrue the MJ$ earned on that purchase. Once opted-in to the program, MJ$ will earn and accrue for redemption as described below until the MJ$ expire or the user leaves the program.
All information collected and used to facilitate the Moosejaw Rewards program is directly related to the program's ability to provide value to the customer. A customer opting-in to the Moosejaw Rewards program is a separate action from establishing a user profile as a result of making a purchase.
The program opt-in requirement was added on August 6th, 2019. Existing program members prior to that date must still formally opt-in and accept the terms and conditions to continue to retain, earn and redeem MJ$. Pre-existing program members that fail to opt-in prior to June 28, 2020 will be removed from the program, and any unused MJ$ will be voided. We really, really don't want to that to happen, so please opt-in or we'll feel terrible.
Leaving Moosejaw Rewards Program:
You may choose to leave the Moosejaw Rewards program at any time by logging in and clicking on the “Opt out Rewards Program” link within the My Account Summary page, Email, calling 877-MOOSEJAW (877-666-7352) or in-store with help from our employees. All items we sell are eligible with the exception of gift cards or other items specifically noted. Full-priced items earn 10% back while discounted items earn 2.5%. "Discounted items" includes items on sale or discounted via coupon code or use of MJ$. You do not earn MJ$ for shipping or tax charges, only from the item value. MJ$ expire two years after earning and are redeemed on a first-in, first out basis (in other words, we always use your oldest MJ$ that are closest to expiration).

On Moosejaw.com, just sign-in on any page to see your available balance. Once signed in, you will see your available MJ$ and maximum that can be redeemed in the payment section of the checkout process. In stores, provide the email address attached to your account to learn your balance and apply to your purchase. So if we are running a 50% back special offer, and you buy a regular-priced item for $100.00, you will receive MJ$10.00 in base points, and a bonus of MJ$40. These special offers may have a cap on how many bonus MJ$ you earn during the promotion, but you will always earn the base Reward Dollars. Make sure to check us out on our social channels for other ways to win some extra MJ$!
MJ$ on Gift Cards:
You don't get earn MJ$ when you buy a gift card, but you do get MJ$ when you spend a gift card. Sorry gift givers. You're welcome gift receivers.

The Wild Country REVO Belay Device is an assisted-braking belay device that features a panic-proof, multidirectional locking mechanism with no way to override it. If you fall, you’re going to get caught. With this unique device, you don’t have to worry about changing your belay style, making it right and left hand friendly.
FINAL SALE: For safety reasons, we cannot accept returns on load-bearing climbing equipment. Sorry for being so mean.
Features of the Wild Country REVO Belay Device
Forged high strength aircraft aluminum body
Functions independent from the loading orientation of the rope, eliminating one of the most common causes of belay related accidents
Any uncontrolled descent will cause the inertia reel to activate, grip the rope and arrest the fall
Completely panic-proof locking mechanism (pat. pending) removes the necessity for a handle to unlock the system when lowering the climber
Revo has no method of over-riding the locking mechanism, during belaying, or when lowering a climber
Is bi-directional so the locking function works regardless of the rope orientation
Intuitive belaying method requires no changes to standard belaying technique so is suited for both beginner and expert climbers
Has no need for a specific locking carabiner
Fits rope diameters from 8.5 to 11.0mm
Weighs in at approximately 245g

very surprised[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] its handling is very simple and intuitive.
I was lucky to be able to rent it, and I liked it so much, that I bought it, it is the insurer that I use
I was very pleasantly surprised with the ease when giving and picking up the rope. It is highly recommended

Auto-Locking ATCThis is pretty much an assisted ATC. Just as good for paying out slack while lead belaying. Works better with softer ropes. The locking mechanism will only engage in the event of a fall IF the belaying isn't belaying properly. As long as the belayer is holding the rope or if there's any friction at all, the device won't lock. This is an all or nothing locking device. For this to lock, you would have to either let the rope move through it really fast, or learn to lock it manually. Using this device has a learning curve but I still prefer this to a GriGri for lead belaying. Not so good for projecting since you'd be pulling down on the rope while your climbing is resting on the rope. Also not all that great for top rope or slab climbs since falls aren't very forceful doing those. My only use for this is for lead-belaying and Lead rope solo.

Coolest Unnecessary tool there isThis was on sale and I thought, screw it this looks sweet I'll get it. I went to a new gym and had it on my climbing harness to look for an opportunity to try it out. I didn't know anyone at the gym, but multiple times people came up and started talking to me and the conversation always turned to "What is that thing on your belt?" The thickness of the static climbing ropes used at the gym where to big to smoothly run through the revo, but I still looked beyond sick wearing it and made multiple friends through having it on my belt. When lead climbing with my personal 9.2mm rope, the revo feeds out like butter on a hot day. Looks sick and performs amazing on the right rope. There are cheaper options out there, but nothing looks as sexy as a revo.

I have been using this since it was released. It has enabled me to climb on the weekends I have my kids with me, as long as I set up an anchor my oldest kid (16) who is significantly lighter than me can perform a lead belay, top rope belay and a lower. He can do these things and I have peace of mind knowing that he is belaying in a fashion which is identical to using a standard belay device (ATC, Pivot etc.) and also that if for some reason his standard belay fails the Revo will lock. This is a great device for a single-rope, single pitch, day at the crag. It's virtually fool-proof to thread as it is symmetrical. It has a nice easy pull through action perfect for when the leader needs rope to clip, and also has a very smooth lowering action. If you are working a route this may not work for you as it is tricky to activate the lock-off feature while the rope is weighted.

This is great to use when partner is lead climbing, very easy to feed rope when clipping. I feel like the back up locking feature could lock just a tad bit quicker, you really have to fall quick for it to catch but it is designed as a backup so I understand. The downside would be if your belaying a heavy climber who also needs to rest or hang often it will wear out the belayer. Wearing a glove on break hand helps. This would be great for indoor climbing and single pitch sport routes!

This is great addition to the world of assisted belay devices as this one is essential a mechanical tube style device. Belay as you would with any other tube device with the added confidence that the Revo will lock if something goes wrong with the belay. It feeds very smoothly but does not provide as much friction when the rope is weighted which makes it a tough device if the climber needs a extra tight belay or if the climber weights the rope often.

REVO-LUTIONARY BELAY DEVICEMy wife and I bought this after reading several reviews on it and waiting for a spell to see if the initial run had any QC issues. We noticed it took awhile for MJ to carry it as well. It's an incredible belay device for lead climbing single pitch, both indoors and outdoors. We haven't had to rely on the back up safety mechanism yet and hopefully won't have to, but it is nice to know it's there. Only negatives would be that it feels heavy/bulky compared to an ATC, and that when you are lowering a climber it can move pretty fast so you have to be deliberate and careful, which is a good practice anyway! We also climb at night and do marathon climbing sessions so we like the security of the Revo compared to other devices you can load improperly. Paying out slack for lead climbing clips is incredibly smooth!
