Rewards Program Terms and Conditions
Last updated January 1st, 2020
Opting-in to Moosejaw Rewards:
All users must accept these terms and conditions and create an account with Moosejaw to opt-in to the program and earn, accrue, retain and redeem Moosejaw Reward Dollars (MJ$). The program is FREE to join and membership is ongoing until or unless the user requests to be removed or is removed due to abuse of the program. Users can opt-in to the program while checking out on Moosejaw.com or at one of our stores or at any time within 30 days of purchase to accrue the MJ$ earned on that purchase. Once opted-in to the program, MJ$ will earn and accrue for redemption as described below until the MJ$ expire or the user leaves the program.
All information collected and used to facilitate the Moosejaw Rewards program is directly related to the program's ability to provide value to the customer. A customer opting-in to the Moosejaw Rewards program is a separate action from establishing a user profile as a result of making a purchase.
The program opt-in requirement was added on August 6th, 2019. Existing program members prior to that date must still formally opt-in and accept the terms and conditions to continue to retain, earn and redeem MJ$. Pre-existing program members that fail to opt-in prior to June 28, 2020 will be removed from the program, and any unused MJ$ will be voided. We really, really don't want to that to happen, so please opt-in or we'll feel terrible.
Leaving Moosejaw Rewards Program:
You may choose to leave the Moosejaw Rewards program at any time by logging in and clicking on the “Opt out Rewards Program” link within the My Account Summary page, Email, calling 877-MOOSEJAW (877-666-7352) or in-store with help from our employees. If you leave the rewards program, any unused MJ$ will be voided upon completion of your request.
Earning MJ$:
All items we sell are eligible with the exception of gift cards or other items specifically noted. Full-priced items earn 10% back while discounted items earn 2.5%. "Discounted items" includes items on sale or discounted via coupon code or use of MJ$. You do not earn MJ$ for shipping or tax charges, only from the item value. MJ$ expire two years after earning and are redeemed on a first-in, first out basis (in other words, we always use your oldest MJ$ that are closest to expiration).
Checking & Redeeming MJ$:
On Moosejaw.com, just sign-in on any page to see your available balance. Once signed in, you will see your available MJ$ and maximum that can be redeemed in the payment section of the checkout process. In stores, provide the email address attached to your account to learn your balance and apply to your purchase. We will also send you a monthly email that details your balance and other account activity. This is a transactional email that you will receive even if you are not subscribed to our marketing emails.
Bonus Rewards Promotions:
Every so often, we'll have special offers where you can earn bonus MJ$, like an additional 10%, 20% or 40% back. So if we are running a 50% back special offer, and you buy a regular-priced item for $100.00, you will receive MJ$10.00 in base points, and a bonus of MJ$40. These special offers may have a cap on how many bonus MJ$ you earn during the promotion, but you will always earn the base Reward Dollars. Make sure to check us out on our social channels for other ways to win some extra MJ$!
MJ$ on Gift Cards:
You don't get earn MJ$ when you buy a gift card, but you do get MJ$ when you spend a gift card. Sorry gift givers. You're welcome gift receivers.
Product Returns and MJ$:
If you return an item, we deduct the MJ$ earned on that item from your balance. If you used the MJ$ and your balance is less than deduction, then your refund is reduced by the difference.
Program Abuse:
The intent of the program is to provide our loyal customers with a way to buy great gear for less. Moosejaw reserves the right to remove any user from the program and zero out their MJ$ balance if Moosejaw determines that the user is abusing the program by buying for resale, attempting to game the program or any other reason at Moosejaw's sole discretion.
Are you Sure?
Our Rewards Program is completely FREE and easy to use.
By opting out, you forfeit all the Moosejaw Rewards Dollars your currently have in your account, which is basically throwing away free money. What would your grandmother say about that? If you're 100% sure, please click "OptOut" below.
For Moosejaw Rewards members only. New members enroll for free during checkout.
You must use code CLIMBERS20 to take the 20% off one full-priced item.
The deal is only on in stock items. Deal cannot be applied to prior purchases or with other promotions.
Load bearing climbing equipment, like a harness or carabiner, is final sale by law so if you don't like your climbing stuff just hang it on your wall to impress your friends - sorry for being so mean about it.
The code is only good through February 19th, 2023.
We want to make extra-sure you realize that you've added a special order item to your cart. These items take a little longer to get to you because we have to order from the manufacturer first. The "Est. Ship Date" is the date we expect items to leave our warehouse... so add your chosen shipping speed to see when it will show up at your door.

PerfectI’m 6 feet and it’s plenty big enough fully dressed. I haven’t had it in the cold yet but I can tell you just getting in it at room temp the temp starts climbing fast. I’m 220lbs and I got the 6’0 to try and it it was small the wife was going to take it , now we will do 2 at 6’0

The best money can buyThe bag is toasty warm, dry, light and waterproof. Nothing I would prefer to sleep in. Sure you can go to Everest with it, but being filled with the highest quality goose down, means warmer temps won't cause sweating and discomfort if you unzip it. The temperature range on the bag is truly impressive. It's like sliding into a down filled pillow with high end technical features to keep the cold and wet out.

Massive loft and warmthBought a few weeks ago, and I am impressed with the quality and amount of insulation in this thing. It's massive, lofty, and roomy compared to other mummy bags. When you open the bag, the top of it doesn't fold like thinner ones, it's like flipping over a thick down mattress! It is extremely warm, and I haven't had a chance to put it to use in really cold temperatures yet. I have had to mostly unzip it after I warmed up in 30F, breezy conditions, while doing some meteor watching.
The loft and nice interior material make it feel luxurious. My only small complaint is that the velcro that holds the neck collar closed is a bit small compared to other bags, and it can be scratchy on the neck.

This Bag is super warm!I used this bag on a trip to Canada. The temperatures ranged from -1 to -38 for the five days we were out. I'd highly recommend this bag if you find yourself in cold temperatures!

May lose small children in loftI am a Boy Scout leader and we do annual snow camping trips to mount baker. Never super cold, maybe 0F. Always drippy from my imperfect cave construction. I have the 5F GWS from WM as well (bison?), but my son takes it while I get the sycamore mf, which is NOT waterproof. So I bought this bag because I figured, why not go big. Big is the operative word here. I did a double take once when I though my son was gone, nope, his 10 year old frame was just swallowed up in the loft of this bag. Also, it packs down to the size of a small car. This is not the bag I will take up rainier, not the bag I take on weekends to the Olympic coast. The summer coupler would make for a warm double here. The GWS are all tough, waterproof bags that are for being in the same spot day after day without thought to how cold nights get. If you’re thinking of spending this much on a bag, it’s probably not your only bag unless you live at some Alaskan outpost without electricity. Anyways. Note that the semi-rectangular bags will leave quite a bit of foot space, meaning dead air, all around you. The bag will keep you warm if you fill that space up with liners, blankets, clothes, maybe a neutrino.

Amazingly warm sleeping bag !!!!I have owned this sleeping bag for several years now that I bought from a big name competitor who no long has this available. I will say that I only gave a fraction of the price they are bringing now and that's probably the reason they were discontinued (not making a profit).
So about the bag :-) I have used this bag extensively in extreme conditions from big game hunting in the High Rockies to camping in the Interior of AK in the middle of the winter. I've taken it to the Sumit of Mt Ranier above the Artic Circle dog sledding in northern Manitobaviewing Polar bears coming out of hibernation and all along the Iron Range of Northern Minnesota in the BWCA. This bag has actually been used at -40 F*/C* that's not including the estimated wind chill we were experiencing either. The bag will keep you warm ! At -30*F I once tested the inside temp because the other campers were whining about getting cold at night when the temps would drop to -30 F and I was having to leave my zipper open some, inside temp in the middle of the night was 86 F I was actually amazed myself ! The price here is heavy duty by my standards but if your going to be in conditions that merit arctic camping this could be the difference between survival. I could tell so many stories about trips I've asked my bag on . Which is why I've always kind of kept my eye out for a replacement when mine eventually wears out :-( guessing better start saving lol.

Warm & RoomyBought this fantastic bag for my wife to accompany me winter camping in SE AK. She reports it is warm and was able to sleep comfortably in it with a light base layer, cap, light down top & booties. I tried it out myself my next camp trip and was able to sleep comfortably in it with a light base layer and cap. As advertised, this bag is not a mummy cut but I found it great to have the extra room and belly sleeping is easily accomplished. Plenty of room to store clothes to warm for the morning, electronics etc. The Gore WS is an especially nice touch on the entire outside. I've noticed that her bag dries faster than my Valandre bag in the mornings as any dew flies off the Cypress due to the Gore when shaking out. Impressive loft. Well done.
What size Sea to Summit compression bag is required for the GWS Cypress?
Asked by: Jaeger14
Hiya Jaeger14, thanks for your question! The stuff size for this bag is 11" x 22" so (depending on the stuff sack style) you would need size XL or larger. Hope this helps!

I’m 6’2” should I squeeze into the 6’0” or wait fir you guys to get the 6’6” back in stock?
Asked by: Alaskaman
Great question!
Personally - I'm 6'0" and I would recommend waiting for the 6'6" to get back into stock.
At 6'2" you'll still be comfortable but you may have a bit more of your shoulders sticking out than what you would like.
Hope this helps!
