Rated 5 out of 5 by from Comfort in the backcountry This is the most comfortable mummy style sleeping bag I have ever used, and I've used a few. I've taking it down to 30 degrees, with a light base layer, and slept like a baby. The mouth is wide which provides ample room for my wide shoulders and thrashing around but not so wide that the thermal efficiencies of the sleeping bag are compromised. Western Mountaineering knows how to make a sleeping bag. Great job.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Long term winner! I bought my Caribou used off of Whiteblaze a good 6 years back. It has been my go-to sleeping bag for dozens of trips, some taking me down to the 20's. I have slept in a hammock using this as an overquilt, on the ground in a bivy, and in tents with pads. Never let me down. By itself I am comfortable down to just below freezing, add a good bag liner or extra layer of clothing, and it is good into the low teens. Also, be sure to give it an hour or more to completely fluff up after unpacking, and be sure to wear dry clothes (or none at all) when getting in, and it will perform as advertised for many, many years.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from High quality, light weight and compressible! I was looking for a bag for summer and shoulder season use that offered a much lighter and more compact alternative to my existing Marmot bag. Since receiving this bag I have been nothing but impressed by the quality, weight and how well is compresses. The fabric has a tighter weave that results in no loss of the down and is also very comfortable. I purchased a Sea to Summit eVent compression sack with this as well and this back easily compresses down to around 2.5 - 3 liters and it's extremely light. I need a smaller pack now with all the extra space!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Packs extremely small, keeps me warm down to the 30's; Great WM quality. When my Western Mountaineering Antelope is too warm, anything above 30, I turn to this wonderfully made bag. It compresses easily into it's XS bag, light as a feather (so to speak), but does it warm me. Have used it in damp 30+ weather with a silk liner and never felt the cold. Soft, durable, water-resistant. Everyone needs one bag for all the times that their extreme bag just sits in the closet because the weather is too warm. At the same time we want to be confident that the cool won't bite us. And it won't in this bag. Get one, and while you are at it, get me another, because I don't want to share this one with the family.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not the bag for me! First of all, let me clarify. The bag is made extremely well. I don't have a complaint about workmanship or quality. I just realized that I am not a mummy bag person. Way too small of space for the feet. I felt claustrophobic the entire sleepless night. Also, it was only about 50 degrees outside, yet I was cold in with long johns on inside the bag. I don't understand why but I was. Also, I purchased the 6ft. bag and I am 5'10", but with my head tucked inside the head area my feet felt crammed to the bottom. I am exchanging this bag for the semi-rectangular Sycamore MF. I'm positive it will be awesome like all Western Mountaineering products.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect summer, late spring & early fall bag You can't go wrong with this bag in mild to just freezing point temps - extend it's range 3 degrees or so with a good set of Merino wool longs, socks & a hat - OR - use it as a quilt on hot summer nights. Exceptional construction & packs down SMALL!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Other sleeping bags make fun of it's diminutive stuffed-size. This thing is tiny. You may think they shipped the wrong stuff sack with it, but trust me, it fits in the XXS sack. Like most sleeping bags, the temps rating is a little exaggerated. When it got below freezing I just added a liner and it preformed fine. Compared to other ultra-light backpacking mummy bags, it seems to offer a little more room at the shoulder and foot box. If you're just gonna do some car camping, get a bulkier synthetic bag, if you want to do some backpacking, save you're shoulders and get this bag. ,,Also, USA! USA! USA!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from MADE IN THE USA with top notch quality I looked at a lot of gear porn before I pulled the trigger and purchased this bag. I never read a bad review about Western Mountaineering sleeping bags. I wanted a sleeping bag with a small pack size and light weight, this bag met my criteria.
