Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lightweight Great quality for the investment in a lightweight paddle. The weight and adjustability are very nice fratures. It allows me to stay on the water longer with less fatigue.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just what I wanted Needed a thinner shaft for my wife and this is perfect. She finds it very comfortable to paddle with. Also, she had difficulty taking her other paddle apart but has no trouble whatsoever with this one.

In comparing this Werner Skagit small shaft paddle: what is the size of this smaller shaft as opposed to the standard shaft Skagit paddle? Can you please provide the circumference measurements of the shafts for both the smaller and standard paddles?

Asked by: Kkkk
Hey there! I can only provide the circumference of the small shaft as that is all we have and sell currently. The diameter for the Skagit small shaft is 3.14" (pi) since the diameter is 1" Werner doesn't provide the actual dimensions, but what they suggest is: measure your hand from the tip of your middle finger to the base of your palm where it meets your wrist. If you measure smaller than 6.5" they suggest small shaft. Longer, go to their standard shaft.
