Rewards Program Terms and Conditions

Opting-in to Moosejaw Rewards:
All users must accept these terms and conditions and create an account with Moosejaw to opt-in to the program and earn, accrue, retain and redeem Moosejaw Reward Dollars (MJ$). The program is FREE to join and membership is ongoing until or unless the user requests to be removed or is removed due to abuse of the program. Users can opt-in to the program while checking out on Moosejaw.com or at one of our stores or at any time within 30 days of purchase to accrue the MJ$ earned on that purchase. Once opted-in to the program, MJ$ will earn and accrue for redemption as described below until the MJ$ expire or the user leaves the program.
All information collected and used to facilitate the Moosejaw Rewards program is directly related to the program's ability to provide value to the customer. A customer opting-in to the Moosejaw Rewards program is a separate action from establishing a user profile as a result of making a purchase.
The program opt-in requirement was added on August 6th, 2019. Existing program members prior to that date must still formally opt-in and accept the terms and conditions to continue to retain, earn and redeem MJ$. Pre-existing program members that fail to opt-in prior to June 28, 2020 will be removed from the program, and any unused MJ$ will be voided. We really, really don't want to that to happen, so please opt-in or we'll feel terrible.
Leaving Moosejaw Rewards Program:
You may choose to leave the Moosejaw Rewards program at any time by logging in and clicking on the “Opt out Rewards Program” link within the My Account Summary page, Email, calling 877-MOOSEJAW (877-666-7352) or in-store with help from our employees. If you leave the rewards program, any unused MJ$ will be voided upon completion of your request.
Earning MJ$:
All items we sell are eligible with the exception of gift cards or other items specifically noted. Full-priced items earn 10% back while discounted items earn 2.5%. "Discounted items" includes items on sale or discounted via coupon code or use of MJ$. You do not earn MJ$ for shipping or tax charges, only from the item value. MJ$ expire two years after earning and are redeemed on a first-in, first out basis (in other words, we always use your oldest MJ$ that are closest to expiration).
Checking & Redeeming MJ$:
On Moosejaw.com, just sign-in on any page to see your available balance. Once signed in, you will see your available MJ$ and maximum that can be redeemed in the payment section of the checkout process. In stores, provide the email address attached to your account to learn your balance and apply to your purchase. We will also send you a monthly email that details your balance and other account activity. This is a transactional email that you will receive even if you are not subscribed to our marketing emails.
Bonus Rewards Promotions:
Every so often, we'll have special offers where you can earn bonus MJ$, like an additional 10%, 20% or 40% back. So if we are running a 50% back special offer, and you buy a regular-priced item for $100.00, you will receive MJ$10.00 in base points, and a bonus of MJ$40. These special offers may have a cap on how many bonus MJ$ you earn during the promotion, but you will always earn the base Reward Dollars. Make sure to check us out on our social channels for other ways to win some extra MJ$!
MJ$ on Gift Cards:
You don't get earn MJ$ when you buy a gift card, but you do get MJ$ when you spend a gift card. Sorry gift givers. You're welcome gift receivers.
Product Returns and MJ$:
If you return an item, we deduct the MJ$ earned on that item from your balance. If you used the MJ$ and your balance is less than deduction, then your refund is reduced by the difference.
Program Abuse:
The intent of the program is to provide our loyal customers with a way to buy great gear for less. Moosejaw reserves the right to remove any user from the program and zero out their MJ$ balance if Moosejaw determines that the user is abusing the program by buying for resale, attempting to game the program or any other reason at Moosejaw's sole discretion.

UnstoppableJust got back from wearing these for the first time and love them so much, I had to share. In case you haven't heard, we're having a lot of rain in California: atmospheric rivers and bomb cyclones (IKR?). I thought I loved my 2 year old winter hiking boots (different brand), but it's been a drought for the last 2 years and while I thought they were waterproof, they let rain in through the top.
I started looking for a waterproof boot because nothing is going to stop me and my dog from our daily trail hikes. I needed something flexible, with good traction and ankle support (had ankle surgery 4 years ago.) I already have a pair of summer Vasque which actually feel like a massage on my ankle, but they're not waterproof (that would be too hot for summer months here,) so I decided to check out Vasque again. Enter Talus XT GTX! Ticks ALL the boxes! Ankle support, lightweight, agile, traction and 100% waterproof -- and I put them to the test! Plus they look great. Very happy with my purchase.
FWIW, I usually wear 9 - 9.5, but I wear US 10 in Vasque. I have very narrow feet and high arches, but the laces make it easy to fit them.

Very comfortable, supportive and light.I bought the grey/orange color in these boots and love them. They are great for me, I have flat feet/low arch and are very supportive for your feet and ankles. They are waterproof and you can walk through streams without worrying about wet feet. These are a good balance between a more heavy duty boot and a light weight boot. These also do not run narrow like some other brands out there. But they are also not overly wide either. A perfect balance/shape.

Kill my heelsI bought them about two months ago and gave them a shot at getting worn in before giving up. I've tried different insoles and nothing helps. My other hiking boots and shoes don't hurt my feet like this so it's not like my feet are hard to fit. My heels ache after a short time wearing them. Today I had to take them off and switch to sneakers. I loved the Vasque Breeze boots but I had them 10 years ago and they weren't waterproof which I need. I also think these boots are very heavy and maybe I've just been spoiled by all the lightweight options available nowadays. It's a shame bc these boots look nice but I just can't wear them.

Longevity, comfortI bought a suede Vasques hiking boots in 1974 and just had to retire them in 2019....yes 45 years from Grand Canyon to Appalachian trail. I am 77 and need a new pair. I think this will do just fine.

Comfortable, breathable, and look goofWhat I love about these boots is the versatility and comfortability they bring on various terrains. I've worn the Talus in streams, climbing rocks, and on slippery, moss covered boulders. They hold up on all surfaces. The laces stay tied and they go wtih just about everything I wear. They feel like they'll last forever.

Comfortable right out of the box!I've never experienced a hiking boot so comfortable right out of the box. This boot is fantastic. It makes me feel stable while also not making my feet feel so confined. I have a very narrow foot. So for me, the toe box is just slightly wide, but I like that it gives my toes room to spread out. I ordered a half size up to make room for wool socks, and these fit perfectly. Thinner socks only make me feel like just a tad roomy, but I'm still glad I sized up to have the ability to add thicker socks.

The best hiking boot on the market!I bought these thinking that there was no way they could come close to the Vasque Breeze model but they certainly are just as awesome. Comfy, waterproof and durable. 10/10 would recommend!

Awesome Hiking Boot!I've been wearing these Vasques for a couple of months now and I just love them. The boot itself is really clean-looking and attractive, and it looks like a boot that will last me a long time. It's not too stiff, but is also supportive (I have high arches and haven't gotten the chance to put inserts in them yet, and they're still comfortable for 5+ mile hikes). I sized up by a half size (usually 7.5, got an 8) and they fit great; there's about an inch of extra room in the toe which is good for me.
