Opting-in to Moosejaw Rewards:
All users must accept these terms and conditions and create an account with Moosejaw to opt-in to the program and earn, accrue, retain and redeem Moosejaw Reward Dollars (MJ$). The program is FREE to join and membership is ongoing until or unless the user requests to be removed or is removed due to abuse of the program. Users can opt-in to the program while checking out on Moosejaw.com or at one of our stores or at any time within 30 days of purchase to accrue the MJ$ earned on that purchase. Once opted-in to the program, MJ$ will earn and accrue for redemption as described below until the MJ$ expire or the user leaves the program.
All information collected and used to facilitate the Moosejaw Rewards program is directly related to the program's ability to provide value to the customer. A customer opting-in to the Moosejaw Rewards program is a separate action from establishing a user profile as a result of making a purchase.
The program opt-in requirement was added on August 6th, 2019. Existing program members prior to that date must still formally opt-in and accept the terms and conditions to continue to retain, earn and redeem MJ$. Pre-existing program members that fail to opt-in prior to June 28, 2020 will be removed from the program, and any unused MJ$ will be voided. We really, really don't want to that to happen, so please opt-in or we'll feel terrible.
Leaving Moosejaw Rewards Program:
You may choose to leave the Moosejaw Rewards program at any time by logging in and clicking on the “Opt out Rewards Program” link within the My Account Summary page, Email, calling 877-MOOSEJAW (877-666-7352) or in-store with help from our employees. If you leave the rewards program, any unused MJ$ will be voided upon completion of your request.
Earning MJ$:
All items we sell are eligible with the exception of gift cards or other items specifically noted. Full-priced items earn 10% back while discounted items earn 2.5%. "Discounted items" includes items on sale or discounted via coupon code or use of MJ$. You do not earn MJ$ for shipping or tax charges, only from the item value. MJ$ expire two years after earning and are redeemed on a first-in, first out basis (in other words, we always use your oldest MJ$ that are closest to expiration).
Checking & Redeeming MJ$:
On Moosejaw.com, just sign-in on any page to see your available balance. Once signed in, you will see your available MJ$ and maximum that can be redeemed in the payment section of the checkout process. In stores, provide the email address attached to your account to learn your balance and apply to your purchase. We will also send you a monthly email that details your balance and other account activity. This is a transactional email that you will receive even if you are not subscribed to our marketing emails.
Bonus Rewards Promotions:
Every so often, we'll have special offers where you can earn bonus MJ$, like an additional 10%, 20% or 40% back. So if we are running a 50% back special offer, and you buy a regular-priced item for $100.00, you will receive MJ$10.00 in base points, and a bonus of MJ$40. These special offers may have a cap on how many bonus MJ$ you earn during the promotion, but you will always earn the base Reward Dollars. Make sure to check us out on our social channels for other ways to win some extra MJ$!
MJ$ on Gift Cards:
You don't get earn MJ$ when you buy a gift card, but you do get MJ$ when you spend a gift card. Sorry gift givers. You're welcome gift receivers.
Product Returns and MJ$:
If you return an item, we deduct the MJ$ earned on that item from your balance. If you used the MJ$ and your balance is less than deduction, then your refund is reduced by the difference.
Program Abuse:
The intent of the program is to provide our loyal customers with a way to buy great gear for less. Moosejaw reserves the right to remove any user from the program and zero out their MJ$ balance if Moosejaw determines that the user is abusing the program by buying for resale, attempting to game the program or any other reason at Moosejaw's sole discretion.

Sturdy boot with wide widthI originally ordered an 8.5 and had to size up. Not sure if that was just my width or what but you may want to size up slightly. The boot is really study and has great ankle support. Haven't gotten a chance to put them through their paces in wet weather yet but so far I am really liking them.

What changed?I have worn the last version of this boot successfully in a size 9W, but now the shape of the shoe is longer and no amount of adjustment, changing socks, different inserts, have made it wearable. What happened with the size change? Why is 9W so big now? I'm sad that I can't return it and don't have a comfortable, wide hiking boot when I need one. I was a big Vasque fan but now what?

Good, but old design was betterI got these to replace my old Vasque Breeze boots that finally kicked it after a few years. They are warm and waterproof and did great hiking through the snow. I didn’t seem to have as many problems as other users, but they are not as comfortable as the old design, came up a bit too high, and did require breaking in that the old ones did not. I’d still prefer the old design, but I like these boots and think they’ll do great!

Very rough on heelsDue to a joint repair in my foot, I am always on the lookout for a hiking boot with a stiff sole and big toe box. This boot provides that, and is definitely quite comfy compared to other narrower options. It's very sturdy and definitely waterproof (tried and tested).
However, whenever I hiked on a steep trail my heels would get torn up (more than a typical blister) and take weeks to heal before I could even think of putting these back on. There's a lot of pressure put on the heel on every step -- not just rubbing, but I felt like I had a contusion near the bottom of my achilles. I tried every preventative measure on the market, as well as various methods to prevent heel slipping, but was still met with a lot of pain after 6 months of attempted break-in. It's possible I have the wrong size, but a few other reviews mention a similar issue. I think it comes down to stiffness and design.

New design is not goodI love my old Breeze hiking boots, but thought it was time to replace them. I was sorry to see there is a new design and was leery after I read the reviews, but had to try them for myself. The boot itself fits like the old design, but the 1" extra height on the ankle is very uncomfortable. My shins hurt after only an hour hike. Boots are being returned and maybe they will redesign.

go back to previous designi needed to purchase a half size bigger shoes and this new design is nowhere as comfortable as the old one. the higher back is SO STIFF. very uncomfortable...They go back to the store... sadly, since I absolutely love my old Breeze hiking shoes...

Perfect fitI am a Vasque hiking boot lover. They discontinued my style so I needed a different Vasque hiking boot. I started wearing the new boots Feb 21 and as of March 21 I have 155 miles on the replacement boots. My old pair had over 900 miles since July 2020. No break-in needed. Really love my new boots and Moosejaw was a great vendor!!! My daughter bought a pair of Vasque as she was mountain hiking with me in “running” shoes. She loves her new hiking boots too.

An inch too high in this re-bootOh No!!! It's a new iteration of the Vasque Breeze AT. Sadly this new re-boot will end my many years of loyal usage. I hike 15+ miles/week and I could always rely on my Vasque's to fit perfectly and be ready for the trails on day 1. Unfortunately, the new model is about an inch higher and seems to create a pressure point on my shins. The foot well is fine but this pressure point is a deal breaker. I am in deep mourning for the loss of my go to Old Faithfuls. Please go back to the old design. New is not always better. :(
When are these coming back in narrow? They were such a perfect fit for me. I miss them!

Hi Linda, thanks for the question! Unfortunately I am not able to say for sure when these boots will be available in narrow again. If they do become available from Vasque again, I would expect us to get some in. I hope this helps!
