Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic size and function Does everything I need it too and more. It’s the perfect little run commute bag. Ample space and useful pockets with minimal bounce when on the run. Love the opening at the front to.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Pretty Good (My First Running Backpack) I got this to try a running backpack. For running, it's very secure and a good size. Note that it's fairly warm (as it sits against your back closely), however, I'm trying this for the first time in Texas in Summer. I'm undecided so far about the dry sack type of zipper and velcro design for the top. It's kind of a pain to get into every day (I use this as my regular bag / laptop bag for work now all the time, even when not running), and it makes the pack a bit top heavy when you load it fully with the dry sack unfolded. Though, the 2 big shoe pockets are very handy, so I find myself not needing to get into the pack too much. I wish it had more internal pockets to store stuff (not sure if this is possible really though, since they're going for more of a lightweight, minimalist thing with this pack). Note that the laptop sleeve / hydration bladder pocket is a bit tight with my MacBook Pro 15" (though, it fits). Also, I don't love the feel of the straps honestly - they have kind of a rough texture and seemingly delicate feel to them especially when the pack is fully loaded. I do, however, love the front pockets on the strap - I can store my phone (Moto X4 with bulky case) in it while running, and the pockets in general are handy for getting to stuff quickly while wearing the pack. One last small complaint: the connectors the straps are the most finicky I've ever used in a backpack, and I almost have to look at them while fastening & unfastening (instead of doing it by feel).
