The FlexCams by Trango is a solid, secure and easy-to-use cam. Featuring a mono-cable stem with a thumb loop for flexibility and easy placement the FlexCams are one of the lightest and best value cams on the planet. The direct offset design of the five smallest sizes let you place them in really shallow pockets and, in a pinch, you can hang them off a single pair of cam lobes for hard aid (think shallow pin-scars). All sizes have doubled UltraTape slings so you can clip in at three different lengths.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome cam for the price This was a great cam for the price. Solid purchase. I have been purchasing the BD cams but I think that the trango cams are a great substitute for a much better price. I’m going to stick with trango for the foreseeable future.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Solid cam that can't be beat for its price. Trango has made some significant changes to their cam lineup over the last few years, and the newest flex line is a solid contender on the market today. I picked up a couple of these while on sale to fill out my rack, and they have been great to use so far. The flexible head allows the cam shaft to pivot freely, helping to reduce force on the cam in the instance of a fall. Overall a great cam for the price.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Best Priced Cam, Best Starter/Supplement Cam Here's the deal; Black Diamond is currently the trend setting most popular cam out there and most people won't even look at another cam= big mistake= it's called Trango Flex Cam. This is a very good overall cam and has some great features to it. I'll do my best to break it down and compare them to the Black Diamond Camalots: PROS: I love the Flex Cam; it is super solidly built and in my opinion has better construction then the Camalot. Extendable sling is a great feature and makes it so I don't have to carry as many quickdraws which saves weight. This cam forces better PLACEMENTS(the most important thing). Best cam for starting/supplementing a rack. The size of the Flex cams are comparable to the Camalots, meaning the #9 flex cam is about equal in size to the #4 Camalot and on down from there CON: This brings me to the only real advantage(depending on who you are) to the Camalots; the camming range is better on the Camalots because of the dual axle system, not by a lot, but enough.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great price for a super durable cam. Trango makes a great product. I almost have a full set of the flex cams. I just purchaced a #9 for the larger cracks. I will keep buying these till I got them all, I love how much give they have when you have no other choice but to put them in a zig-zagy area. They will flex well over 90 drgrees and bounce back to their origional shape, Definately a smart buy. Lots of sizes to choose from. Love it.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from nothing too special These don't cam nearly as much as the camelots so finding placements is obviously a little harder. I don't like that the heads are different colors because its not as easy to recognize which one you're grabbing off your loops. i very rarely clip these without a sling anyways so the runner on it isn't really a huge score. i still use them but i wouldn't but them again

Rated 5 out of 5 by from High quality cams at a fair price I really like these cams. The alternating color system eliminates gear fiddling and allows me to quickly and confidently find the piece I need when I need it. The doubled slings saves a lot of weight and keeps my gear loops from being cluttered up with a bunch of extra slings. I like the longer stem for deeper placements, and I haven't had a problem with these cams walking any more than any other cam. I think these cams are a great value and are a great addition to your rack as well a good option for someone just starting to build a rack.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Solid piece of gear. I've used a few different cams and can say that this one is definitely a solid piece of gear. Lightweight, easy to place. The extendable sling is a really nice feature. Good range of sizes with no gaps.
