Rated 4 out of 5 by from Sure footed and stable. Some minor tweaks but not much has changed. Looks and rides about the same, still fairly firm. Roomy toe box. Extraordinarily stable with a very grippy rubber compound. Those are my primary reasons for buying this shoe over and over. By stable I mean the shoe’s resistance to being rolled. I’ve sprained my ankle quite a few times in high stack height shoes. I can’t induce this shoe to roll. The rubber grips wet polished urban surfaces and wet painted lines unusually well. The extra rubber in the heel is a huge help when coming down Stone Mountain in the rain. This is my do everything daily all purpose shoe. As a runner it’s a bit too firm for me but I value stability and traction over comfort. Looks kind of classy, much nicer than the Altras. I have a low arch foot with a narrow heel and the fit is excellent. My comments regarding wet grip are specific to this shoe with the black rubber. I can’t comment about wet grip with other outsole colors (sometimes it matters).
