Can't Go WrongSo you're probably wondering, why do I have to pay $90 for a couple pieces of rubber and metal? Or at least I was when I got my new fit kit. Well, turns out there's some thought behind it. I got the Traverse Fit Kit 1718 for the 2014 Honda Civic. It fits flush just like it's supposed to and nothing is moving with this baby. More importantly, as soon as I put it on, I didn't worry about it damaging my car (which was never an issue with my old car, but, c'mon, it's a new car). I've put Thule racks together before, so maybe I'm biased about how easy it is to put the Fit Kit into the feet, but I think it's cake. Just remember that it matters which one goes in front and which one goes in back (otherwise it won't fit properly). So, yeah, I can't really say I love it, but it does exactly what it says it will do, so I also can't give it anything but 5 stars.
Does this come with the covers as well or is it just the bracket shown in the picture?

Hiya afoster28, thanks for your question! This is just the fit kit and only comes with what you see in the picture: metal brackets and rubber roof protection pieces. The actual foot, Thule Traverse 480, is sold separately. Hope this helps!

Hi there, thanks for your question! If you have an extended cab, your vehicle will need kit #1511 or kit #1827 for a double cab. I don't have any information about the rubber pieces. You might want to contact Thule directly for more information and/or fit concerns. You can reach them by phone at (800) 238-2388
