Opting-in to Moosejaw Rewards:
All users must accept these terms and conditions and create an account with Moosejaw to opt-in to the program and earn, accrue, retain and redeem Moosejaw Reward Dollars (MJ$). The program is FREE to join and membership is ongoing until or unless the user requests to be removed or is removed due to abuse of the program. Users can opt-in to the program while checking out on Moosejaw.com or at one of our stores or at any time within 30 days of purchase to accrue the MJ$ earned on that purchase. Once opted-in to the program, MJ$ will earn and accrue for redemption as described below until the MJ$ expire or the user leaves the program.
All information collected and used to facilitate the Moosejaw Rewards program is directly related to the program's ability to provide value to the customer. A customer opting-in to the Moosejaw Rewards program is a separate action from establishing a user profile as a result of making a purchase.
The program opt-in requirement was added on August 6th, 2019. Existing program members prior to that date must still formally opt-in and accept the terms and conditions to continue to retain, earn and redeem MJ$. Pre-existing program members that fail to opt-in prior to June 28, 2020 will be removed from the program, and any unused MJ$ will be voided. We really, really don't want to that to happen, so please opt-in or we'll feel terrible.
Leaving Moosejaw Rewards Program:
You may choose to leave the Moosejaw Rewards program at any time by logging in and clicking on the “Opt out Rewards Program” link within the My Account Summary page, Email, calling 877-MOOSEJAW (877-666-7352) or in-store with help from our employees. If you leave the rewards program, any unused MJ$ will be voided upon completion of your request.
Earning MJ$:
All items we sell are eligible with the exception of gift cards or other items specifically noted. Full-priced items earn 10% back while discounted items earn 2.5%. "Discounted items" includes items on sale or discounted via coupon code or use of MJ$. You do not earn MJ$ for shipping or tax charges, only from the item value. MJ$ expire two years after earning and are redeemed on a first-in, first out basis (in other words, we always use your oldest MJ$ that are closest to expiration).
Checking & Redeeming MJ$:
On Moosejaw.com, just sign-in on any page to see your available balance. Once signed in, you will see your available MJ$ and maximum that can be redeemed in the payment section of the checkout process. In stores, provide the email address attached to your account to learn your balance and apply to your purchase. We will also send you a monthly email that details your balance and other account activity. This is a transactional email that you will receive even if you are not subscribed to our marketing emails.
Bonus Rewards Promotions:
Every so often, we'll have special offers where you can earn bonus MJ$, like an additional 10%, 20% or 40% back. So if we are running a 50% back special offer, and you buy a regular-priced item for $100.00, you will receive MJ$10.00 in base points, and a bonus of MJ$40. These special offers may have a cap on how many bonus MJ$ you earn during the promotion, but you will always earn the base Reward Dollars. MJ$ on Gift Cards:
You don't get earn MJ$ when you buy a gift card, but you do get MJ$ when you spend a gift card. Sorry gift givers. You're welcome gift receivers.
Product Returns and MJ$:
If you return an item, we deduct the MJ$ earned on that item from your balance. If you used the MJ$ and your balance is less than deduction, then your refund is reduced by the difference.
Program Abuse:
The intent of the program is to provide our loyal customers with a way to buy great gear for less. Moosejaw reserves the right to remove any user from the program and zero out their MJ$ balance if Moosejaw determines that the user is abusing the program by buying for resale, attempting to game the program or any other reason at Moosejaw's sole discretion.

Good quality but expensive ...This sleeping bag took a friend. For as he said a very warm season. Now I'm looking at a sleeping bag replacement. But I will probably take 32F because it will be just for me for 2+ seasons and for summer in the low mountains. I'm still hesitating between STS and 32. But I think it's worth trusting. After all, I have almost everything from Thermarest

One major flawI love the overall idea of the quilt, it is very comfortable to sleep in. However, the down moves to the side of the quilt every night. So I ended up being covered by only a thin layer of fabric. Really dissapointing!

Perfect lightweight Spring/Summer QuiltI've had a few nights out in the Vesper 45F so far in Pennsylvania, and feel like it's a great backpacking quilt.
The Vesper 45F seems super well made, with a attention to detail/quality. For all the UL people concerned about ounces and grams my regular sized quilt weighed as advertised (~12oz).
I feel their advertised comfort temp rating is accurate, which is why I went with Therm-a-Rest over a snaller cottage brand, because even though they can't advertise a EN/ISO measurement for their quilt because a quilt vs bag is apples to oranges with ratings, I still bet they ran them through their tests but just don't give them with an official EN/ISO rating. (I had my 45F out this spring during a night that dropped to around that temperature range and didn't wake up cold)
The Vesper 45F and 20F pack down to smaller than an average nalgene in their OEM compression sack, but I did end up buying a larger 6L Sea 2 Summit e-vent compression sack that I will swap between my 45F and 20F depending on the season. The OEM compression sacks are tiny, and a little annoying to pack, where as the 6L Sea 2 Summit event is maybe only 2oz heavier than the OEM, but that 2oz weight penalty added an easier time packing my quilt up it and an extra layer of waterproofing for my quilt.

Vesper 45 Quilt ReviewThis thing is extremely light and takes very little space when packed up. I haven't had the chance to test it yet in cooler weather sinceTexas late spring is basically summer but can say for sure the material is very nice to touch.

Perfect For Warmer TripsThe very first night I slept in it, it got down to the temp limit and I was fine. My feet got cold around 5:45 AM and it was time to get up then anyway. FWIW - I slept only in a pair of shorts that night. I could have gotten up and added a puffy and some socks and probably slept until well after sunrise.

Perfect for UL packing!I have the Vesper 32 and needed a quilt for warmer weather especially for my hammock. It’s like sleeping in a cloud- so light and puffy!

Vesper HeavenFirst let me preference this review by saying I’m a very warm sleeper. I specifically purchased this 45 degree quilt for summer backpacking. I was pleasantly surprised by how wide and long the regular sized quilt was. I’m 6 feet tall and 215lbs (not skinny guy.). This quilt is actually wider and longer then my other two quilts that were purchased as wide / long sizes. It comes with a long term storage bag, a compression stuff sack, and 2 pad straps. Most cottage companies either make you pay extra or don’t have all of these options available. I’ve found this quilt able to keep me comfortable into the forty’s so the temperature rating is spot on for me. Additionally, it’s only 12 oz. At this weight, I’m actually considering using it as a second quilt to pack for next years winter trips.
Quality of construction is world class and again weight is as light as there is!

so light! so packable! so warm!the only time I'm cold with this is user error. I either try to use it when its way too cold for what its rated for (and I'm still surprisingly still warm-is) or I don't use the straps to help reign it in around my sleeping pad. I love it and its exactly what I was looking for, a super small summer bag and super packable winter cabin trip bag!
Interested in the Vesper 45 by Therm-a-Rest. I’m 5’10 should I go with reg or long? I like to move around sleeping. I’m 225lbs and tent camp. I do have a rectangular sleeping pad 72x25 will this be an issue?

Hi John, thanks for the question! Based on your height and pad length, I would suggest the Regular length quilt which is intended to be used with pads up to 72''. It will strap around your rectangular pad just as it would the pad shown and I would expect this to be a great, mild-weather quilt for you. I hope this helps!
