Rewards Program Terms and Conditions
Last updated January 1st, 2020
Opting-in to Moosejaw Rewards:
All users must accept these terms and conditions and create an account with Moosejaw to opt-in to the program and earn, accrue, retain and redeem Moosejaw Reward Dollars (MJ$). The program is FREE to join and membership is ongoing until or unless the user requests to be removed or is removed due to abuse of the program. Users can opt-in to the program while checking out on Moosejaw.com or at one of our stores or at any time within 30 days of purchase to accrue the MJ$ earned on that purchase. Once opted-in to the program, MJ$ will earn and accrue for redemption as described below until the MJ$ expire or the user leaves the program.
All information collected and used to facilitate the Moosejaw Rewards program is directly related to the program's ability to provide value to the customer. A customer opting-in to the Moosejaw Rewards program is a separate action from establishing a user profile as a result of making a purchase.
The program opt-in requirement was added on August 6th, 2019. Existing program members prior to that date must still formally opt-in and accept the terms and conditions to continue to retain, earn and redeem MJ$. Pre-existing program members that fail to opt-in prior to June 28, 2020 will be removed from the program, and any unused MJ$ will be voided. We really, really don't want to that to happen, so please opt-in or we'll feel terrible.
Leaving Moosejaw Rewards Program:
You may choose to leave the Moosejaw Rewards program at any time by logging in and clicking on the “Opt out Rewards Program” link within the My Account Summary page, Email, calling 877-MOOSEJAW (877-666-7352) or in-store with help from our employees. If you leave the rewards program, any unused MJ$ will be voided upon completion of your request.
All items we sell are eligible with the exception of gift cards or other items specifically noted. Full-priced items earn 10% back while discounted items earn 2.5%. "Discounted items" includes items on sale or discounted via coupon code or use of MJ$. You do not earn MJ$ for shipping or tax charges, only from the item value. MJ$ expire two years after earning and are redeemed on a first-in, first out basis (in other words, we always use your oldest MJ$ that are closest to expiration).
Checking & Redeeming MJ$:
On Moosejaw.com, just sign-in on any page to see your available balance. Once signed in, you will see your available MJ$ and maximum that can be redeemed in the payment section of the checkout process. In stores, provide the email address attached to your account to learn your balance and apply to your purchase. We will also send you a monthly email that details your balance and other account activity. This is a transactional email that you will receive even if you are not subscribed to our marketing emails.
Bonus Rewards Promotions:
Every so often, we'll have special offers where you can earn bonus MJ$, like an additional 10%, 20% or 40% back. So if we are running a 50% back special offer, and you buy a regular-priced item for $100.00, you will receive MJ$10.00 in base points, and a bonus of MJ$40. These special offers may have a cap on how many bonus MJ$ you earn during the promotion, but you will always earn the base Reward Dollars. Make sure to check us out on our social channels for other ways to win some extra MJ$!
MJ$ on Gift Cards:
You don't get earn MJ$ when you buy a gift card, but you do get MJ$ when you spend a gift card. Sorry gift givers. You're welcome gift receivers.
Product Returns and MJ$:
If you return an item, we deduct the MJ$ earned on that item from your balance. If you used the MJ$ and your balance is less than deduction, then your refund is reduced by the difference.
The intent of the program is to provide our loyal customers with a way to buy great gear for less. Moosejaw reserves the right to remove any user from the program and zero out their MJ$ balance if Moosejaw determines that the user is abusing the program by buying for resale, attempting to game the program or any other reason at Moosejaw's sole discretion.
Are you Sure?
Our Rewards Program is completely FREE and easy to use.
By opting out, you forfeit all the Moosejaw Rewards Dollars your currently have in your account, which is basically throwing away free money. What would your grandmother say about that? If you're 100% sure, please click "OptOut" below.
We want to make extra-sure you realize that you've added a special order item to your cart. These items take a little longer to get to you because we have to order from the manufacturer first. The "Est. Ship Date" is the date we expect items to leave our warehouse... so add your chosen shipping speed to see when it will show up at your door.

Looking to buy..........Hoping to purchase this item as it seems to have many of the features I am interested in for a bag of this caliber. However, I have some unanswered questions. Have reached out to customer service via their portal twice in past 2 months and they have been non-responsive. There is no phone # that is available either. Raises significant concerns on potential handling for future issues if customer service is ever needed.

My favourite sleeping bagI had this sleeping bag on Denali expedition and everybody was jealous about it. It kept me warm even in -35C and when it got wet it dried fast. The only thing that concerns me is that feather on the back where I sleep starts to disappear, it probably moves, what can I do about it?

Compression sack to small to fit the bag inside. So the sleeping bag is nice, however there are number of places where threads are left lose. However, the compression sack is too small by at least 4 inches in circumference. I am using air pump sack to store the bag for now. For that price the compression sack should be perfect. I dont know what Im gonna do, I will propobly purchase fabric and plastics and have a custom made commpression sack, but honestly, I am very dissatisfied and disappointed. If you plan to purchase this bag be prepare to spend extra for compression sack.

Great all around cold weather bagI've now used this for one season of winter camping and can report that it's a great piece of gear! I've taken it on winter camping trips where temperatures dropped down to -30C,-25C, and -12C. The bag performed really well under all of those conditions. The side vents worked wonders in the cold temperatures when I wanted to grab something but didn't want to expose my whole body to the cold outside temperatures. I don't winter camp as much as I summer camp (type 2 fun is a one off...not a regular event like spring/summer/fall camping :p) so I'm excited to continue trying this out in future seasons. Highly recommend!

Very warm, fit is slim, it was 0 deg and did very well! You can't go wrong with this bag for a very light but warm bag. Used in CO at 9000' and it was 0 deg, held up very well. Little tight in the shoulders, but I will continue to use it for sure. Expensive but worth it!

When Nebraska gets -22°F, get the Polar RangerI recently car camped with this sleeping bag while stopping in Nebraska en route to Colorado.
That's was when yesterday's (Feb 15th, 2021) polar winds hit the farmlands and temperatures hit a phenomenal low.
I saw a rabbit outside, ears tucked down, scurry under a vehicle as I got ready to tuck myself into this concoon of a sleeping bag.
Now, the bag claims it's rated for -20°F, but I wasn't worried since I had my winter mountain kit. I could always add additional layers to insulate myself. Before going to sleep, I thought this is an ideal test of this bag's capabilities - and that was the only reason I was glad to be in the midst of a polar hell.
Pairing this sleeping bag with a Thermarest Neo-lite sleeping pad, wearing jeans a synthetic tee-shirt, and cotton socks, I was comfortable and able to sleep through the periods between alarm intervals, which were set so that I could start my car every so often, keeping the engine from cooling too much.
If not for these alarms waking me, I don't doubt I would've had a good night's sleep.
Excellent product by a company that knows sleep.

So versatileTwo seasons with this bag and have used it from 0 degrees down to -37F in hammock and ground sleeping on multiple trips nordic skiing in the BWCA of Minnesota. The versatility comes with the venting capability via the arm and long entry zippers and large draft tubes. Even in the extreme cold I typically part the draft tubes or have zippers open with draft tubes blocking the openings. The snorkel hood, no joke, is the absolute best way of managing extreme cold moisture/frost issues and cross drafts. After using the snorkel hood I would never consider using a winter bag without it. The reflective inner fabric really works well and this bag warms up quickly. Packability is exceptional! This has replaced my winter kit consisting of multiple layered items that were never warm enough. Exceptional sleeping bag. I would recommend only this bag.
Are all thermarest products made in USA? That would be a great filter!!

Hey there, thanks for your question.
Therm-a-rest manufactures most of their products in their own facilities in Seattle WA, Reno NV and a European hub in Cork, Ireland. More information can be found here:

At 5'11" will the Regular feel cramped? Should I get the Long as LBen suggests?
Asked by: Mark
Hey Mark, great question! It does come down a little bit to the kind of sleeper you are, if you tend to ball up a bit or stretch out. If you are the stretch out type, I would consider moving up to the long option. I hope this helps!
