Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wonderful 3 season coat I bought this coat ro wear in weather ranging feom 35-50 degrees. It has been wonderful. It is prefect lightweight warmth. I love the length and the hood. I love the fleece lined pockets and the easy and secure two way zipper. I have worn the coat in wind and drizzle and kept warm and dry. I got the blue color and get lots of complements on the color. I live in Virginia and can see wearing this coat fall, much of winter and spring. Great coat. I love it and recommend it highly. I will say I did order a size larger than I normally wear, it seems to run small.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Coat I bought this coat using a credit from a Christmas purchase. The coat is thin, but very warm. It does run a little small, but since it was on clearance, I bought it anyway. I love the cut as well.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Warm, Quality, Fair Price The coat is very warm and with the deals you can get on moosejaw, it turned out to be a great price! I originally ordered a medium but exchanged for a small because the sides look fitted (like there's elastic), but actually don't cinch the waist. The fur is nice but does lay more flat, verses rounded. I ordered white. I don't know what I expected, but quickly learned (like on the first wear) that it will be tough to keep clean!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Jacket Love this Parka! Lightweight so I can wear it while driving and still keeps me warm enough when walking around. Great olive color. I shopped around for it and found the best price here.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect jacket! Super warm parka! Perfect fit! Typically I am an XS but I ordered this in S to account for thicker sweaters/layers underneath. The hood is big, nice coverage! Love it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it! This is a great coat with a few minor flaws. The sizing seems a bit off. All of my north face items are small. I had to return the small for a medium. The medium is a good fit except the sleeves are a little too long. My other issue is the zipper - it constantly gets caught on the fabric. Otherwise I love the color and length. It's very lightweight but warm at the same time. My daughter loves it too. Unfortunately it is unavailable in her size.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome for Florida winters. This jacket keeps me warm during cold morning walks. The fit is perfect when wearing a long sleeve tee. I really like that it is longer and covers my hips.

Will this be warm enough for Iowa winters?

Asked by: Wtrenkamp21
Hi again! If temperatures get into the negatives, then I would actually consider a Down Parka - such as the Triple C II Parka or the Arctic Down Parka. Both have the same amount of insulation. If you are looking for longer coverage, than the Triple C II would be a great option. If you get a lot of snow and need water protection, then I would go with the Arctic Parka. I really like the faux fur-lined hood on the Arctic Parka because it helps to block wind. I included links below to both suggestions. From what I read about Iowa winters, it sounds like Down is what you need. I hope this helps! https://www.moosejaw.com/moosejaw/shop/product_The-North-Face-Women-s-Triple-C-II-Parka_10317144_10208_10000001_-1_ https://www.moosejaw.com/moosejaw/shop/product_The-North-Face-Women-s-Arctic-Down-Parka_10251471_10208_10000001_-1_

How warm is this jacket going to be?

Asked by: Wtrenkamp
Thanks for the question! Unfortunately, The North Face does not temperature rate their products. Jacket warmth really varies with each person's body temperature and also how many layers of clothing worn underneath. Since the Harway has 100g of Heatseeker (synthetic) insulation, it is going to be heavier & warmer and ideal for cold weather conditions. Synthetic insulation ranges from 40-120 grams. The heavier the weight, the warmer the insulation. Sorry for such a lengthy response. I hope this helps a little!

How do the sizes run? I'm a size 12-14 in clothing...36D in bust

Asked by: Nattie
Hiya Nattie, thanks for your question! I am between sizes in The North Face brand clothing but for outerwear, I usually size up. Size XL might be the best size for you. Here are the suggested measurements for that size: Bust - 42 - 44" Waist - 35 - 38" Hip - 41 - 43" See the size guide at the bottom of the product page for more size measurements and information, (There is a shortcut to the size guide under the drop down size menu. Just click on the "Size Guide" link.) Hope this helps!
