The North Face Women's Freedom Insulated Bib is a waterproof and warm pant for snowsports. Skis or snowboard, throwing snowballs at your kids, whatever gets you out there this winter, these will protect. The DryVent 2L fabric offers waterproof, windproof and breathable protection, shielding you from snow, rain, sleet and wind. A 60g layer of Heatseeker Eco insulation bolsters against the coldest days, while inner thigh vents and the Chimney Venting system prevents you from overheating. The bib style deters snow from entering on deep powder days, along with the StretchVent gaiters down at the cuffs. All with an easy side-zip entry so you're in and out of the pant quickly whenever you're back at the lodge.

I'm usually a small in most brands, including TNF. I bought both small and medium and am returning the small. They fit, but were pretty snug across my booty (and I do have a booty) so it restricted movement for snow sports. I love the chest pockets. They feel cute and kept me warm with a light base layer in hours of snow.

Can you fit a cell phone in the chest pockets? How big are they? Do the straps detach for easy on/off bathroom breaks?

Thanks for reaching out! We physically checked and a cell phone will fit inside the chest pockets. The dimensions of the pockets are approx 8" x 4". The shoulder straps do not detach :(
