Rated 5 out of 5 by from best purchase I love my new jacket. It was my best purchase ever. Totally worth the money. It came in on time. I tried it on everything fit. The zipperes work great easy to take apart the inside jackets. Perfect for cold wet weather. With living in Colorado came in handy for everything weather it be the rain snow or just cold temperatures.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great rain and hiking jacket Bought this for my daughters birthday because she likes to hike and she loved it. The color, the material and that it had a removable inner layer.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from I would not purchase this product or anything similar again Used the product a handful of times went fishing a few times and kyaking just once, and within the time I would not consider myself to have been rough with the product. The stitching is already starting to come apart. In my opinion, North Face has not made their products as durable as they once have. After being in the store getting told this was a great light weight jacket great for skiing and outdoor activities I am disappointed I spent so much. Will definitely be looking at other brands when looking for quality.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great jacket Jacket fits great, looks great and is very versatile in different weather. Outer jacket is great for rain and liner is nice by itself for colder days or combined with jacket it’s warm for colder days. Love the style.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Threat fit! Bought this jacket to wear on cold days in Alabama and for a light coat / rain jacket. It rains a lot in Mobile!! It’s perfect ! It’s roomy enough for a sweater under and not tight across the shoulders. Glad I chose this one!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Dissappointing Really wanted to love this jacket, however after wearing it on the Overland track for 6 days, where it rains quite alot, I can safely say this jacket was not very waterproof at all. We had rain for 3 days straight however by the end of the first day my moiture wicking shirt underneath was soaking wet, and it definitely wasnt from sweat because 1. It was freezing and 2. I dont sweat enough to cause a soaked top. Having said that, this jacket also has poor ventilation. Was very dissappointed and also quite miserable on the trail as I was expecting to be kept dry in this expensive jacket . My husband has the Apex jacket and he stayed completely dry.

Is the Arrowood or the Inlux warmer?

Asked by: Cait
Hiya Cait, thanks for your question! I would say that the Inlux jacket is warmer. It has 100 g / 60 g of Heatseeker insulation while the Arrowood just has a fleece liner. Hope this helps!

Is the shell packable?

Hiya Goldenpear88, thanks for your question! The shell is basically a rain jacket. It is not made to be stowable but is could compress. Hope this helps!

Are there waterproof pants that matches the jacket? Soft shell?

Asked by: cathy13
Hey there, Thanks for the question. The North Face does not make a pair of pants designed to match this jacket specifically, but if you're looking for a pair of pants that are similarly waterproof you may want to check out the Venture 2 Half Zip Pant (https://www.moosejaw.com/moosejaw/shop/product_The-North-Face-Women-s-Venture-2-Half-Zip-Pant_10332547_10208_10000001_-1_), or for an insulated pant the Women's Freedom Insulated Pant (https://www.moosejaw.com/moosejaw/shop/product_The-North-Face-Women-s-Freedom-Insulated-Pant_10345512_10208_10000001_-1_). I hope this helps!

This is a two piece jacket, correct? Are you able to take the fleece jacket out of the shell? After reading the reviews, someone mentioned how it was only one jacket so just want to clarify.

Asked by: BriO
Thanks for the question! The North Face Women's Arrowood Triclimate Jacket is a 3-in-1 jacket. It comes with both a shell and fleece that can be worn together or separately. Sorry for the confusion!

I am in Pittsburgh now, which is about 1-10 Celsius degree. Will I be cold wearing this? And I am confused about the 3-1 jacket. Does it consist of waterproof jacket, hardface fleece and DryVent™ 2L exterior jacket? I can wear them separately?

Asked by: yeyuw
Hiya yeyuw, thanks for your question! This consists of an outer shell (DryVent™ 2L exterior jacket) and an inner fleece lining jacket that zips in and out. You can wear the shell without the fleece, as a rain jacket or just the fleece in mild temperatures... or both together for warmth and protection. As far as warmth goes, we do not provide temperature ratings on clothing because warmth depends on so many different variables including activity level, metabolism, perspiration as well as the other clothing layers you are wearing. That said, this jacket is a good option for early winter, late spring in Pittsburgh. It has a warm fleece lining jacket but no insulation beyond that. You can zip in The North Face Denali jacket instead of the fleece, which is heavier. If you want something a step warmer, check out the The North Face Women's Mossbud Swirl Triclimate Jacket. It has the same waterproof outer shell, but with better features (zipper flap, removable hood and flattering stylizing) and a heavier fleece with 60 grams of insulation and the most softest Mossbud Swirl lining you will ever feel. Check it out here: https://www.moosejaw.com/moosejaw/shop/product_The-North-Face-Women-s-Mossbud-Swirl-Triclimate-Jacket_10284725_10208_10000001_-1_ For bitter cold temperatures, check out the The North Face Women's Arctic Parka II https://www.moosejaw.com/moosejaw/shop/product_The-North-Face-Women-s-Arctic-Parka-II_10344451_10208_10000001_-1_ or The North Face Women's Metropolis II Parka https://www.moosejaw.com/moosejaw/shop/product_The-North-Face-Women-s-Metropolis-II-Parka_10317053_10208_10000001_-1_ Hope this helps!

Does it run small?

Asked by: Lovella
HIya Lovella, thanks for your question! This jacket has a relaxed fit so it supposed to fit loose. It should run-to-size or slightly large. Hope this helps!

Is the Merriwood jacket any different from the arrowood jacket? Wasn't sure which one to get

Asked by: Zac69hary
Thanks for the question! It really depends on what you plan on using the jacket for. If for more casual use, then I would go with the Arrowood Triclimate. It has a waterproof 2-layer shell, inner 200 gram smooth-face fleece, good breathability, fixed hood, and falls to the hip. The Merriwood Triclimate Jacket can also be used for casual use, but it was designed for skiing & snowboarding, too. It has a waterproof shell that also has 60g Heatseeker insulation, an inner fleece with 300 grams of warmth, moderate breathability, removable hood, and falls to the waist. In addition it has a goggle & media pocket and pit zips. If you think these features are too much, then I would go with the Arrowood. Hope this helps!
