The North Face Triarch 2 Tent is a backcountry tent capable of sleeping two hikers. Or offering loads of room for one person. Perhaps you and a furry, four-legged pal? Regardless of how you slice it, the tent itself includes a gear loft and footprint, so you don't have to worry about an additional cost to get started on the trail. Dual doors make entries and exits quick and simple when with a partner and there is plenty of interior head room for sitting up to play a game of cards or rustle around in your stuff sack for a clean t-shirt. The rainfly provides two vestibules, keeping you and your gear dry as you sleep through the storm. Conveniently placed mesh plus color blocking provides a little more privacy when using the tent without the fly, so don't be afraid to go without the fly on hot, sticky nights in the backcountry.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Simple and Capable I purchased this tent at the Moose for the right price. Easy to set up and take down. Plan to use this on a 2 week 10,000, mile motorcycle ride that is an "old school" challenge (sleep by the bike, follow maps without GPS, etc). This will make the July trip nicer, no matter where it takes us.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Bad zippers on rain fly Zipper seam came apart at bottom of rain fly causing the zipper slider to come off. Can't close the entrance now. This was on the third use. I can see the same area starting come apart on the other entrance zipper. Pretty frustrating for the price of the tent. Other than that, the rest of the tent has been pretty great, and if i could rate the tent separately from the fly, I would give 5 stars. I've used it for backpacking and car camping and it's great for both. It's light, and a quick pitch. Lots of head room.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Ignore the design flaws if you know what you're doing Yes the poles at the end are a tight fit. Undeniably true. But if you carefully set it up for JUST ONE nights sleep the poles will be flexed in perfectly for your next night. FANTASTIC TENT.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from good design, poor quality I used this tent on a few overnight kayak trips. The connecting plastic that holds to poles together cracked off on the third use. It was a little chilly with moderate wind but nothing extreme. The design allows you to store a lot of gear like the duct tape youll eventually need to hold the thing together

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good tent! This was my first tent purchase and first time to set up a tent. This tent is roomy. I was able to fit a helinox cot lite, with a thermarest pad and also have enough space to fit my pack on one end and the dog's bed at the other with plenty of entry and exit space on one side. I took this tent on a week long car camping trip, visiting various state parks and recreation areas in Arkansas. It is extremely easy to set up, takes about 5 minutes. The tent is very well constructed, very breathable, even with the rainfly, but also keeps the wind out. Two of the 6 nights had considerable downpours and I have to admit I was skeptical that I would stay dry, but dry I stayed, not a drop of moisture in the tent! It was even dry under the footprint when I went to pack up while the rest of the ground was soaked. I like the storage space with the two gear lofts and the extra mesh pockets on either end of the tent. It also has attachment points for a small lantern. Two things somewhat annoying though...there is really no privacy without the rainfly and the zipper seems to stick at times on the rainfly, other than that it is a really good tent.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Trip on the JMT I used it on the JMT and it worked perfectly. This is not a lot roomy for two person, but with all the gear loft and pockets, it's not that bad. We were able to store our 60 L packs in each vestibule without any trouble. It take like 2 minutes to pitch which is awesome. This tent is light enough for one person even with the foot print. You would probably have too much room for only one person, but who is going to complain about that.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from So very dissapointed with this tent , and TheNorthFace brand The poles snapped the third time I put the tent up . Its super roomy , pretty light , and it looks great . But apparently the quality of material is garbage . North Face provided 0 compensation for the time, money and inconvenience I had . I thought I was getting a great tent from a great company . I couldnt have been more wrong. The Customer Service team over there has to be the worst I've encountered . The manager from the warranty department is a complete waste of space and was no help at all , Steven was his name . I work with a CFI crew cutting new trails , and setting in steps to summits . I absolutely recommend you to buy any other brand .
