Opting-in to Moosejaw Rewards:
All users must accept these terms and conditions and create an account with Moosejaw to opt-in to the program and earn, accrue, retain and redeem Moosejaw Reward Dollars (MJ$). The program is FREE to join and membership is ongoing until or unless the user requests to be removed or is removed due to abuse of the program. Users can opt-in to the program while checking out on Moosejaw.com or at one of our stores or at any time within 30 days of purchase to accrue the MJ$ earned on that purchase. Once opted-in to the program, MJ$ will earn and accrue for redemption as described below until the MJ$ expire or the user leaves the program.
All information collected and used to facilitate the Moosejaw Rewards program is directly related to the program's ability to provide value to the customer. A customer opting-in to the Moosejaw Rewards program is a separate action from establishing a user profile as a result of making a purchase.
The program opt-in requirement was added on August 6th, 2019. Existing program members prior to that date must still formally opt-in and accept the terms and conditions to continue to retain, earn and redeem MJ$. Pre-existing program members that fail to opt-in prior to June 28, 2020 will be removed from the program, and any unused MJ$ will be voided. We really, really don't want to that to happen, so please opt-in or we'll feel terrible.

All items we sell are eligible with the exception of gift cards or other items specifically noted. Full-priced items earn 10% back while discounted items earn 2.5%. "Discounted items" includes items on sale or discounted via coupon code or use of MJ$. You do not earn MJ$ for shipping or tax charges, only from the item value. MJ$ expire two years after earning and are redeemed on a first-in, first out basis (in other words, we always use your oldest MJ$ that are closest to expiration).

Once signed in, you will see your available MJ$ and maximum that can be redeemed in the payment section of the checkout process. In stores, provide the email address attached to your account to learn your balance and apply to your purchase. Every so often, we'll have special offers where you can earn bonus MJ$, like an additional 10%, 20% or 40% back. So if we are running a 50% back special offer, and you buy a regular-priced item for $100.00, you will receive MJ$10.00 in base points, and a bonus of MJ$40. These special offers may have a cap on how many bonus MJ$ you earn during the promotion, but you will always earn the base Reward Dollars. Make sure to check us out on our social channels for other ways to win some extra MJ$!

Would reccomend! :)[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Been using this tent for 3yrs. Used in the Canadian Rockies and Iceland for car camping and backpacking. Handled all kinds of weather and never leaked! We got a 3 person tent and mostly used it for 2 ppl. Sometimes we brought the occasional friend and all our gear still fit inside perfectly. We only stopped using it because the poles broke. Unfortunatley North Face doesn't have replacements. The skin is in fine condition, but you need the specific H-shaped poles.

Useless for what it’s intended for...I bought this tent not too long ago and have used it many many times. However, my first encounter in humid climate ( not even raining just humid at night) caused the entire inside of the rain fly to become condensated and ended up leaking into the inside of the tent. All of the gear got wet, sleeping bags, clothes, literally everything that was inside the tent was wet/soaked by morning time. Why would a tent come with a rain fly that absolutely fails at keeping the rain out no matter what?
An expensive price to pay for something that doesn’t work...at all. Unless it’s sunny picnic weather.
Would not recommend to anyone ever in any circumstance.

Nice tentMy husband and I used it once so far, just for two of us, pretty spacious. Kinda tight for 3 people. I watched youtube video and video on Northface website before the purchase, i feel its hard to setup an H-shape tent in general. I am a bit regretful may be should have bought a regular X-shape dome tent. But i like this one comes with a tarp and the classic color. The material and design is more suitable for summer/warm weather camping. We used in October in North California. 40 F at night. No other issue so far.

Rain fly has major problemsMy wife and I were using this tent at a two week base camp in Wyoming during a particularly wet June. We had rainstorms every afternoon or evening. Much to our shock the rainfly on our North Face Talus 3 tent's rainfly developed major seepage problems, not only along the seams but across the entire fly during heavy rains. Everything in the tent became wet, and thankfully our sleeping bag was more waterproof than the fly. We solved the problem by attaching a small tarp over the fly which kept out the rain but is not an acceptable solution over the long term.

Fantastic tent!Great tent that is really easy to set up. Mind you, I've only ever used older version coleman tents so this is a big upgrade for me. Nonetheless the design is great and makes for good ventilation. The inside of the tent was never humid or damp in the mornings despite the heat I was camping in. Overall happy with the tent.

Dissapointing at bestReturned a North Face Nebula 3 season tent with a minor leak and this was the piece of junk they sent me as a replacement. Pros for this tent are few: ease of set up, gear loft and footprint included. Took the tent out on a 3 night trip on the Colorado trail in mid September. 2 of us and our pupper split the load so the tents weight wasn't an issue. Night one we camped out at approx 9500 feet in elevation. Expecting cold nights we packed 15 degree bags. The condensation inside was really heavy and it hung on the mesh if anyone bumped the side of the tent you would get a mini rain storm inside the tent. The next morning was foggy and cool and the exterior of the tent was soaked. Whomever designed the vestibules on this rain fly definitly failed, when you unzip the fly it directs all the water directly in to the tent and on to our gear. Night 2 we camped just below timberline. It was a bit windy so we guyed out the tent. During the night we had a few wind gusts that flexed and pushed the tent causing one of the pole hooks and the cross pole eyelets to pop out of position in the middle of the night. Wind was only gusting in to the 20s and we were not in a heavily exposed area. Night 3 we were expecting some inclement weather so we camped out below 8000 feet. We had steady light rain through the night and the poor design of the tent and rain fly were really revealed. Multiple drips started at a couple of the rain fly seams. The tub/ floor of the tent seemed to allow water in as well and waking up cold with a wet sleeping bag at 4 am is no treat. Though the nebula we sent back had a minor leak I have no doubt we would have been warmer and more dry than what the replacement tent provided.

It works, barelyI use this tent mostly for recreation and car based adventures in good weather. It's heavier than I would like if we were doing serious backpacking with it, but minor excursions are okay. The biggest problem I've had is that the fly is super poorly designed and seems to be 3-4 inches too small for the tent, so in bad weather when you really have to peg the fly down tightly it really sucks. It's hard to get it even remotely close to the ground (mine actually just ripped bc of this), and then when you do get it on pretty tight it causes the frame of the tent to collapse and poles to bow inward (losing the nice spaciousness as the walls gape in). I've had problems with major leaking in the past also. It's functional, but would not recommend to anyone ever.

Nice and roomy!I bought the Talus 3 tent after doing lots of research. I was looking for an upgrade to my current 2 person tent as well as something that mainly prevents rain from soaking the entrance when exiting and entering. The cross-pole on the Talus extends nicely over the porch and when used with the bomber fly, offers a decent awning which seems to solve the problem perfectly. It was easy to set up and I like that the pole is connected but folding the tent pole for storing was a feat and required some elastic bands to keep it all together. Not a deal breaker just a little weird and takes some getting used to. Over all I really enjoyed sleeping in the tent and look forward to testing it out in some weather.
