The North Face DryVent
Dryventâ„¢ fabrics are engineered to be fully waterproof, windproof and breathable. Each multi layered textile is engineered to allow water vapor to pass through from the inside to the outside.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from High quality rain gear Very nicely designed, great fit. Heavier than a packable wind breaker but much more effective in keeping dry in wet weather. Only complaint is that I could have used under arm ventilation. I'm 5'11 / 165 lbs and the M was a perfect size.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great lightweight waterproof jacket Great jacket for summertime storms in Colorado. I am a trail runner and avid hiker and this jacket provides great rain protection without weighing you down. I only wish that it zipped up within itself for easy storage.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I would buy this product over in different colors for sure! It rained a lot at my college orientation earlier this week. I used this product for that and it kept me dry through all the wet weather. It's great to have considering how lightweight it feels on you.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 10 out of 10 would recommend The jackets great. The only thing I got a problem is with that the water from the rain pools up on the jacket.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love It I bought this jacket for my husband, and we have already tested it in wet weather during an outdoor concert. It was about 60-65 degrees, and misting. The jacket kept him completely warm and dry. Definitely a great buy.

So how does this compare with the Venture jacket? I see it's a slim fit and it's missing half a layer of the DryVent fabric. But what does that mean to me?

Asked by: Matt14
Thank you for the question! The Millerton has an "Active" fit, while the Venture has a "Relaxed" fit. The Venture also has the added feature of pit-zips. The Millerton isn't missing any fabric, it is just a different product. DryVent 2.5 is a thinner product than DryVent 2. The Millerton is heavier in weight, therefore will be warmer. Hope this clears up any confusion!
