Opting-in to Moosejaw Rewards:
All users must accept these terms and conditions and create an account with Moosejaw to opt-in to the program and earn, accrue, retain and redeem Moosejaw Reward Dollars (MJ$). The program is FREE to join and membership is ongoing until or unless the user requests to be removed or is removed due to abuse of the program. Users can opt-in to the program while checking out on Moosejaw.com or at one of our stores or at any time within 30 days of purchase to accrue the MJ$ earned on that purchase. Once opted-in to the program, MJ$ will earn and accrue for redemption as described below until the MJ$ expire or the user leaves the program.
All information collected and used to facilitate the Moosejaw Rewards program is directly related to the program's ability to provide value to the customer. A customer opting-in to the Moosejaw Rewards program is a separate action from establishing a user profile as a result of making a purchase.
The program opt-in requirement was added on August 6th, 2019. Existing program members prior to that date must still formally opt-in and accept the terms and conditions to continue to retain, earn and redeem MJ$. Pre-existing program members that fail to opt-in prior to June 28, 2020 will be removed from the program, and any unused MJ$ will be voided. We really, really don't want to that to happen, so please opt-in or we'll feel terrible.
Leaving Moosejaw Rewards Program:
You may choose to leave the Moosejaw Rewards program at any time by logging in and clicking on the “Opt out Rewards Program” link within the My Account Summary page, Email, calling 877-MOOSEJAW (877-666-7352) or in-store with help from our employees. If you leave the rewards program, any unused MJ$ will be voided upon completion of your request.
Earning MJ$:
All items we sell are eligible with the exception of gift cards or other items specifically noted. Full-priced items earn 10% back while discounted items earn 2.5%. "Discounted items" includes items on sale or discounted via coupon code or use of MJ$. You do not earn MJ$ for shipping or tax charges, only from the item value. MJ$ expire two years after earning and are redeemed on a first-in, first out basis (in other words, we always use your oldest MJ$ that are closest to expiration).
Checking & Redeeming MJ$:
On Moosejaw.com, just sign-in on any page to see your available balance. Once signed in, you will see your available MJ$ and maximum that can be redeemed in the payment section of the checkout process. In stores, provide the email address attached to your account to learn your balance and apply to your purchase. We will also send you a monthly email that details your balance and other account activity. This is a transactional email that you will receive even if you are not subscribed to our marketing emails.
Bonus Rewards Promotions:
Every so often, we'll have special offers where you can earn bonus MJ$, like an additional 10%, 20% or 40% back. So if we are running a 50% back special offer, and you buy a regular-priced item for $100.00, you will receive MJ$10.00 in base points, and a bonus of MJ$40. These special offers may have a cap on how many bonus MJ$ you earn during the promotion, but you will always earn the base Reward Dollars. Make sure to check us out on our social channels for other ways to win some extra MJ$!
MJ$ on Gift Cards:
You don't get earn MJ$ when you buy a gift card, but you do get MJ$ when you spend a gift card. Sorry gift givers. You're welcome gift receivers.
Product Returns and MJ$:
If you return an item, we deduct the MJ$ earned on that item from your balance. If you used the MJ$ and your balance is less than deduction, then your refund is reduced by the difference.
Program Abuse:
The intent of the program is to provide our loyal customers with a way to buy great gear for less. Moosejaw reserves the right to remove any user from the program and zero out their MJ$ balance if Moosejaw determines that the user is abusing the program by buying for resale, attempting to game the program or any other reason at Moosejaw's sole discretion.

Dryvent™ fabrics are engineered to be fully waterproof, windproof and breathable. The outer face of the textile is treated with a durable water repellant finish that helps form droplets and repel water from the surface. Each multi layered textile is engineered to allow water vapor to pass through from the inside to the outside.
Responsible Down Standard

Terrible coat, great experience thanks to MoosejawI recently purchased this coat as a new winter parka. I live in upstate NY so it’s cold enough for a coat like this. First, the coat was super warm so it lived up to that need but that’s where it ends. Really poor design quality doesn’t really describe it. Two flap pocket with zero insulation and no way to close them and only on small interior chest pocket so zero storage. Also, the large fit me like a 2XL. I could cross it over two fold in the front like your mom’s old house coat. I’m 5’10” 200# so a coat like this oughta fit pretty normal. I found the same coat in store in a size SMALL and it fit me. A bit snug but I could zip it up all the way. TNF failed miserably when designing this coat. I still don’t understand why they have so many different sizing metrics. I understand this is a city coat but even if I put on 10 layers it’ll still look like a choir bell. Don’t waste your time. Find a better coat and spend the cash. Moosejaw however, made the return process quick and painless so I will of course continue to support them faithfully. When I finally find my glass slipper it’ll be bought through them. Unfortunately, this dud of a coat wasn’t it.

Not goodThis jacket is monstrous in size. I’m 6’3”, 180 lbs, 40” chest, 36” waist. I normally take a medium in North Face coats, but this coat in medium was at least a size too big. I tightened the hem cinch and the waist cinch and that helped but the coat looked like a dress, flaring out from the cinched-in waist. There’s no side pockets for your hands and the front bellows pocket flaps have nothing to hold them down (velcro, snaps etc). I sent this poorly designed monstrosity back.

Great coat, but quite bigIt’s been a fantastic coat for this extra week+ of Chicago winter. The grey looks classy and the extra length is nice for some added warmth when in work slacks. But it is definitely a size too big. Maybe even slightly more than that. Had to exchange my medium for a small. I’m a shade under 6 ft and 180 lbs.

Very disappointing experience, see below[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I ordered an XL, to replace my old north face expedition coat which ripped; coat that arrives yesterday (XL) is WAY TOO BIG, not even close, could fit 2 of me in it. I contact service same day, asking for exchange for smaller size. You must send back 1st coat, get refund which takes 3-5 weeks, and feel free to order another.

Review[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The clothes is very thin, light-weighted, which is very comfortable to wear. However, it is still not very enough for cold weather, like -10 celsius. It is very suitable for certain places, like a classical concert, because the clothes does not make a lot of noise. Generally, the clothes is good looking and comfortable, but be careful if you want a very warm and functional down jacket.

Pocket Problem[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love everything about it except for the pockets. First, the flaps do not lie flat due to the design of the pocket - the fabric underneath the flap does not fold down properly. Almost returned it because of this issue. The other problem is there are no side pockets so no place to put hands for extra warmth. It is not a comfortable position to put hands straight down into the current pockets.

Super awesome parka - warm and light[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Expedition Arctic Parka is definitely one of the best parka's I've had. Its light and warm with its 700-down feather. I literally wore the parka with shorts inside but not feel any coldness under 35 degrees. This is definitely the one piece you will need during winter.
How much does this weigh? The description doesn't say.
Does it have offsewn seams in the down chambers?

The The North Face Men's Expedition Arctic Parka weighs approximately 2.75lbs. There doesn't appear to be anything special about the seams between the down chambers. The outer shell is seam-sealed two layer DryVent which keeps the wind and weather from sneaking between the baffles.
