Rewards Program Terms and Conditions
Last updated January 1st, 2020
Opting-in to Moosejaw Rewards:
All users must accept these terms and conditions and create an account with Moosejaw to opt-in to the program and earn, accrue, retain and redeem Moosejaw Reward Dollars (MJ$). The program is FREE to join and membership is ongoing until or unless the user requests to be removed or is removed due to abuse of the program. Users can opt-in to the program while checking out on Moosejaw.com or at one of our stores or at any time within 30 days of purchase to accrue the MJ$ earned on that purchase. Once opted-in to the program, MJ$ will earn and accrue for redemption as described below until the MJ$ expire or the user leaves the program.
All information collected and used to facilitate the Moosejaw Rewards program is directly related to the program's ability to provide value to the customer. A customer opting-in to the Moosejaw Rewards program is a separate action from establishing a user profile as a result of making a purchase.
The program opt-in requirement was added on August 6th, 2019. Existing program members prior to that date must still formally opt-in and accept the terms and conditions to continue to retain, earn and redeem MJ$. Pre-existing program members that fail to opt-in prior to June 28, 2020 will be removed from the program, and any unused MJ$ will be voided. We really, really don't want to that to happen, so please opt-in or we'll feel terrible.
Leaving Moosejaw Rewards Program:
You may choose to leave the Moosejaw Rewards program at any time by logging in and clicking on the “Opt out Rewards Program” link within the My Account Summary page, Email, calling 877-MOOSEJAW (877-666-7352) or in-store with help from our employees. If you leave the rewards program, any unused MJ$ will be voided upon completion of your request.
All items we sell are eligible with the exception of gift cards or other items specifically noted. Full-priced items earn 10% back while discounted items earn 2.5%. "Discounted items" includes items on sale or discounted via coupon code or use of MJ$. You do not earn MJ$ for shipping or tax charges, only from the item value. MJ$ expire two years after earning and are redeemed on a first-in, first out basis (in other words, we always use your oldest MJ$ that are closest to expiration).
Checking & Redeeming MJ$:
On Moosejaw.com, just sign-in on any page to see your available balance. Once signed in, you will see your available MJ$ and maximum that can be redeemed in the payment section of the checkout process. In stores, provide the email address attached to your account to learn your balance and apply to your purchase. We will also send you a monthly email that details your balance and other account activity. This is a transactional email that you will receive even if you are not subscribed to our marketing emails.
Bonus Rewards Promotions:
Every so often, we'll have special offers where you can earn bonus MJ$, like an additional 10%, 20% or 40% back. So if we are running a 50% back special offer, and you buy a regular-priced item for $100.00, you will receive MJ$10.00 in base points, and a bonus of MJ$40. These special offers may have a cap on how many bonus MJ$ you earn during the promotion, but you will always earn the base Reward Dollars. Make sure to check us out on our social channels for other ways to win some extra MJ$!
MJ$ on Gift Cards:
You don't get earn MJ$ when you buy a gift card, but you do get MJ$ when you spend a gift card. Sorry gift givers. You're welcome gift receivers.
Product Returns and MJ$:
If you return an item, we deduct the MJ$ earned on that item from your balance. If you used the MJ$ and your balance is less than deduction, then your refund is reduced by the difference.
The intent of the program is to provide our loyal customers with a way to buy great gear for less. Moosejaw reserves the right to remove any user from the program and zero out their MJ$ balance if Moosejaw determines that the user is abusing the program by buying for resale, attempting to game the program or any other reason at Moosejaw's sole discretion.

The North Face WindWall
WindWall is a fleece fabric that retains the comfort, flexibility and breathability of traditional fleece while eliminating wind chill, which enhances warmth. The unique bonding process cuts 80 - 95% of wind.

Not really outstanding in any wayI was looking for a good coat for winter activities including snowboarding. The build of the jacket was decent but not many features, and the fit was not very sporty or adaptable. I ended up exchanging for a similar coat with a powder skirt, more pockets, and an adjustable hood.

Lightweight and warm!Great coat for the cold Michigan months! Very lightweight and comfortable. I can wear a T-shirt underneath and still remain warm! I definitely recommend, worth the money.

Massachusetts Mom from
Son loves thisBought this for my 17 year old son. He loves it. Not to heavy or bulky but keeps him protected in Northeast weather. He has worn over a base layer and wool sweater while snowmobiling, skiing and shoveling. Perfect for snowy days on school campus. Only thing I wish it had was a velcro strap to tighten wrist opening. It does have an internal cuff, but it would be even better if the wrist opening could be tightened.

Several Issues With JacketI own the Fall 2013 version of this jacket, and while it is warm for it's weight, there is something to be said about the wind resistance of the outershell after the material has begun to wear away and pill from very casual use (to and from work for 2-3 months out of the year). The material on the left side of the jacket's underarm area has now begun to pill incessantly, which is something I've never seen from a polyester shell. I own several jackets and with NYC weather being somewhat erratic, I cycle my wardrobe accordingly, so this jacket does not get extensive use. I mostly break it out on colder/wet fall days and along with the failure of the material I previously described, the snap closures keeping the hood fastened to the neck guard constantly come loose. Sometimes all it takes is a gust of wind to do the trick and I'm forced to pull the hood back over my head. Most of the time, with the jacket fully zippered and hood in place, simply turning my head or raising my arm will cause the snap closure to pop open. Since snap buttons are hidden beneath a flap of polyester material, it is also extremely inconvenient to get the hood secured again. This jacket would otherwise be a 4-5 star item depending on what your usage... but I find that the lack of sturdiness of material along with the hood issue, should temper any expectations of a customer looking to purchase for every day use.

Nice fit, disappointed at the overall wear.I bought this jacket 2 weeks ago and have worn it a handful of times. While it fits well, the insulation seems to be "leaking" through the interior of the coat and pilling up. When I take it off, I am now wearing the pilling on my shirt. I can't imagine this is what North Face had in mind with this jacket.

The insulation comes through the lining...The insulation is coming out through the lining inside of the jacket. It comes right through the porous fabric and not only just at the stitching seems. 0/10. I've owned this jacket for an hour and a half and wore it home to try it out.
Is this jacket warmer than the North Face Inlux jacket?
Asked by: Steve
Thanks for the question! Based on just the insulation alone, I would say the Elevation will be warmer since it has PrimaLoft, while the Inlux has Heatseeker synthetic insulation. Both are waterproof, however the Elevation has the added feature of being windproof. That will of course add to the warmth. If you are extremely active while wearing the Elevation, you might actually get too warm. The Inlux will offer more moderate breathability during activities. Since The North Face does not temperature rate their jackets, I really can't give you a straight forward answer. Hope this helps a little, tho!

Asked by: miles
Hiya miles, thanks for your question! This jacket has a relaxed fit so it might be a bit loose on you but if the measurements are right on, I say go for it! Hope this helps!

What is the outer made of? Is the exterior made of fleece or is it that soft shell nylon? Is this warm enough for NY winters, which can be below 0 at times? I saw some reviews stating they needed to wear a hoody underneath. I don't want to have to do that
Asked by: Jack C
Hey Jack C, good question! The exterior of this jacket is Polyester ripstop fabric making it quite durable, while the interior is a soft, nylon liner. There is not a ton of insulation in this jacket, 100 g of primaloft in the body and 60 g in the sleeves; I would suggest an additional layer if you are looking to get down to 0 degrees. Sorry about that, but I hope this helps!
