Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very good! I own the -40 and -20 versions of the bag. I bought TNF as it was one of the cheapest priced cold weather down bags I could find. The bags have been used in winter Alaska and on Denali. Both bags are very warm and comfortable...very good for the price. In warmer conditions, the mid zipper length makes it harder to vent and keep cool (but then again, you buy a bag like this to keep warm, so I'm happy to let that slide). The zipper has worked well, though I am curious to see how durable it is. It's smaller than one would expect. A smaller zipper lets less heat escape which is nice but I wouldn't want the zipper to fail on a cold night either. So far no problems, but I'll be keeping my eye on it. Its really comfortable and soft. The -40 bag is huge even when compressed. I may buy a slightly smaller compression sac than the one TNF provided to see if I can get it smaller... coz it just takes up too much space in a backpack. Overall, I'd buy these bags again and they are worth the price tag. Lastly, I would buy my wife one of these but TNF doesn't make these bags for women's sizes (standard length 5'6"), which is a shame...that one of the top gear manufacturers in the world doesn't make their top end sleeping bag for women! My wife did try the -40 bag a few times but there was so much dead space in the bag that she was freezing at 5F.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from the perfect gear for perfect mountaineers i use it at the temperatures below -20C and no problem at all. The center zip is perfect when you are in the tent sitting and chatting with your buddies. it can be compressed very small if you wanted to which helps to pack small bag.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Highly recommended if you are a real high peak bagger. I just completed my long time dreamed expedition in Aconcagua where I had the chance to put this piece of gear to the extreme test. As many of you already know, Aconcagua weather changes drastically on a daily basis. This piece of gear kept me warm and it was compressible enough for me to pack it nicely. Staying minimalist is crucial when venture into climbing a 7K peak such as Aconcagua and this piece of gear held up so well. The only downside to was the frost accumulated in my tent whick made it a bit vulnerable to catch water on the top layer. My suggestions is to make it all the same under layer coating material which is water resistant. The other small adjustment to make to it would be to create a zip loop pouch so that the zip loop doesn't scrape right on your chin. Overall this sleeping bag does what it supposed to do for you while at high altitude and thin air.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wonderful Toasty and comfortable. Great construction with reinforcement on natural pressure areas. I tend to get colder than others when camping and used to avoid snowy/below freezing nights, but now I will not hesitate venture out on snowy nights.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice bag I bought this bag for over fighting this winter. Didn't disappoint, kept me warm and had more than enough room. Light ish weight for a bag this size, shrinks down decently. Over all a great buy
