Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great comfy bag, but color not as pictured. lightweight warm and roomy. I'm typically the type of sleeper that changes positions throughout the night and likes to be able to bend a knee or open up my sleeping bag at the bottom to stick my leg out when it gets warm. I had originally purchased a Cat's Meow synthetic bag (I'm a TNF employee), but the bulk of the packed size and confinement of the mummy shape left me feeling like I had made the wrong choice. Also the regular size bag (fits 5'6.. I am 5'6) left my toes scrunched up in the toe box when I stretched out. For this reason I went with the long Campforter. It is pretty long, maybe too long, but I'd rather have that than too short. The last con is that the bright blue pictures inside this bag, and the dark navy/purplish exterior is not accurate at all. Look at the photo of the Campforter Duo for a better idea of the true color. The interior is a greyish Blue and the exterior is navy and black. A little disappointed that it wasn't as bright as what's shown.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is the bag I've been looking for As the title suggests, when I first purchased this bag I was still searching for what I considered 'a bag to last'. I was moving from car camping to motorcycle camping so size became an issue. I originally purchased this bag and right off the bat the zipper grabbed the inside draft flap. It was absolutely warm during my test however I thought there must be a design issue if it grabs that easy and returned it. Reasons I came back: 1. Durability. Lightweight, compact down bags have zippers that snag. I've come to believe that this is just an unfortunate side effect of combining compressible materials with zippers. I never found a single bag in the weight and size range that didn't run this risk. The only bags that didn't ever snag when snatching the zipper up were the inexpensive bags that were super stuffed with whatever fill material to the point where there wasn't any space left for the fabric to shift around (and not very compressible as a side effect). In the end the durability of the outer shell became the most important concern and the ripstop will do nicely. 2. Design. My original thought was double the zippers double the snags! Since this had zippers on both sides I believed this was just room for failure. I have since changed my point of view. I haven't removed the 'comforter' part of this bag but being able to fold it down feels very much like sleeping in my bed at home. This leads to point 3. 3. Comfort. I do enjoy the mummy bag design, however most of them just aren't roomy enough for my wider shoulders. At 182lbs/5'11", when I tried the highly regarded Cat's Meow I felt really squeezed in there. The Campforter is very spacious inside yet still warm for all but the most extreme situations. (I tested this in my tent outside on a night where it never climbed above 35F. One layer of thermals and one camping pad was all I needed to stay very warm. Conclusion: As a picky person, there doesn't exist a more perfect bag for my needs.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Do not buy this sleeping bag I purchased this bag a couple of weeks ago in preparation for a week long camping trip. On the first night out the bag got snagged in its zipper. I didn't notice it as I was already in it for the night. When I woke up there was down everywhere. As I moved in the night the bag had been ripped open. Took it to a TNF store and the employee said that there was nothing she could do (I did not purchase it at TNF store) and offered me warranty paperwork I could use to send it to TNF but said that it likely wouldn't be covered under warranty because it wasn't ripped at a seam. All of my camping gear is TNF (duffles, tents, and packs) and I've never had a durability issue. It's unfortunate as this will likely be my last TNF purchase.
