Rated 5 out of 5 by from My next 22 year tent. I replaced my 22 year old TNF Lunar ship and have great expectations. I have not camped in it yet however I have set it up inside my house to inspect. First, the quality and materials are top-notch. I looked at it and the instructions and different poles and said what! The pitch instructions are in B&W and thankfully, like my Lunar ship, the poles are different colors. I didn't read the instructions, I'm a visual person and expect a product sold internationally to have instructions as simple as LEGO. A quick look at the TNF page and the color coded pole locations are evident. Do it once, it clicks and you'll remember which pole goes where and it's a easy pitch. Once pitched...Wow! Spacious, plenty of interior pockets, a huge vestibule and the window construction is awesome. First, the vestibule. It's huge with doors on each side making ingress/egress simple. It's big enough I'll be able to make my coffee and meals if it's raining. The interior pockets are huge. I'll be using mine for quick rain gear accessibility. Finally the window construction. The three main window are two part. One is the mesh and the other is a cover that keeps the elements out. The design of them are super simple to adjust either one and the zippers are protected from the elements on the outside by design. The largest window can be used as a exist hatch. In addition, there is a small vent like wind on the front and back to increase airflow. Nice details TNF. The over all package is impressive. The bag that holds the tent has several lash loops. I'm using those loops for custom compression straps I made and have been able to reduce it's volume considerably in my pack. The size is overkill for one person but there are benefits. One, I can set-up my tripod inside and easily shoot out the window. Two, invite camp neighbors over to hang-out in bad weather. This tent will be used for all adventures sans solo through hiking. Looking forward to testing on South Manitou Island and midwest winters.
