Also, disappointed in the level of cushioning in the foot bed and lack of arch support. Honestly, I don't understand the good reviews for Sorel boots. I have had to return every singe pair I have tried. They are cute, but not comfortable or functional enough, especially for the price. I have had much better luck from other brands. Sorry Sorel, I tried, once again - a FAIL.

If I'm going to be hiking in snow (not super intensely) through trails in Yellowstone, can I wear these?

Hiya Alice, thanks for your question! You can totally wear this boot! All long as your activity level is moderate, your feet should stay warm. By moderate, I mean walking, hiking, playing in the snow, etc... not standing or sitting still. You might want to consider sizing up a half size, especially if you plan to wear thick socks. I've read that this boot runs small. Should I buy 1/2 or whole size larger than I normally wear?

Thanks for the question! I actually own these boots myself. I am a Nike shoe size 7.5 (my normal size) and bought these boots in a size 8. I found them to be a little too short and a little too narrow. I am able to wear them with thin & thick socks. So I would suggest just going up one half size. Hope this helps!

Does this boot work well for snowmobiling in -20 weather?

I would recommend the Sorel Women's Joan Of Arctic Boot instead. It is rated for -25° Fahrenheit. HOW to MEASURE
