Durable Water Repellant
DWR (Durable Water Repellent) is a coating that is applied to fabrics which makes them water-resistant, or hydrophobic. A DWR finish doesn't interfere with breathability, which makes it perfect for adverse conditions in the backcountry.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This jacket covers a wide range of temperatures! Hiking uphill you always get sweaty, but you feel okay to keep it on. No need to hold up your friends while you rip off a few layers. Then at the top your still warm and it will dry on the way down.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cute and warm essential jacket I love this jacket so much. I wear it as my midlayer while skiing, but also I just wear it on a daily basis. It keeps me perfectly warm at all times. It is very stylish too.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fabric and weight are idea for layering. It runs larger than I thought but will keep it. I am always between a medium and a large. Fabric and weight are ideal for layering or wearing alone.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just what I needed I needed something to do a lot of things. I arrived in PA from the UK where the most I would ever need to run in was a long-sleeved t-shirt. However, for me, winter 2017-18 in Pennsylvania was a game changer, I desperately needed something warmer to run in. In fact, I need a whole new layer because at -15C I also needed another layer under my ski jacket. Enter the Smartwool Double Corbet 120 jacket. THIS is exactly what I needed. Smart, lightweight, and warm. Exactly what I need for that extra layer when running, neatly carrying my keys, phone and earbuds. It looks great on its own with skinny jeans and long boots, and it’s warm and cosy under my fleece or ski jacket. I love it. Reckon I’ve had it about 4 weeks now, and I’ve been wearing it most days...but you wouldn’t always know it. It’s that cool.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from i would highly recommend this jacket I bought this jacket on a whim for my girlfriend. she loved it so much that she would wear it to work and even during the work day. it keeps her warm but regulates her temperature. I then bought one for my sister who is really difficult to buy gifts for. The jacket is warm and flattering.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This jacket is perfect! I wear this jacket along with my smartwool hoody and if it's 20 -30 degrees outside, I'm toasty warm! I'm amazed at how much warmth it provides without feeling stuffy or sweaty and it's so lightweight, too! LOVE this. I purchased the gray color. It's a little darker than the picture, but no problems there.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Warm running jacket for frigid temps I love this jacket for running outdoors in temperatures below 25 degrees. It is a nice alternative to performance down. I can wear this over 1 base layer and be warm on my runs. I have worn it on 10 degree days with windchills making the "real feel" in the negative temps and it has performed really well. The merino layer provides nice insulation and the nylon surface on the front and back block the wind. The side stretchy panels allow the sweat to escape and makes the jacket super flattering and comfortable if you have hips because it allows the jacket to stretch out and stay down. I have other jackets that have the elastic wrapping all the way around the bottom and they tend to ride up because I'm pear shaped. For size reference, I'm 5'2" and my weight fluctuates between 108-115 pounds. I exchanged a small for an x-small which fits me perfectly. I originally ordered the small thinking I wanted room for 2 layers underneath but it wasn't necessary. I like the jacket so much that I bought it in 2 colors. Bottom line- Super stylish and functional.
