Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome Socks I use these socks almost everyday. For work, for hiking, for trail running. Great for recovery too. Awesome compression.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Product good, but m The socks are fine but the tabs on the package were torn and a rip in the package side had been amateurishly closed with scotch tape, raising the question of whether the socks had been opened by a previously customer, worn and returned (and then sold to me.) When I pointed this out, Customer Service shrugged it off, saying it could have happened in transit (not likely since the exterior shipping package was undamaged.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Smart, very Smartwool Smartwool is a wonderful company. They make good products and stand behind their quality. I bought the black ones to wear as my work socks because of varicose veins in my shins. The support is great. I wear their calf sleeves for running, because toes socks are a great thing. Wear a small size in the calf sleeve, because it feels better. I am on the line about needing the larger size for the socks based on shoe size. I live in Atlanta, and I wear Smartwool socks year round. No, I have never seen a sheep sweat and don't feel like these socks make me hotter in the summer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great, supportive sock! I bought these socks for my son, he is on his feet all day and was seeking a compression-type sock and he only wears Smart Wool as a rule! He reports that they are perfect, comfortable, and noticeably different than a traditional sock for all-day use.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good compression sock I am 5'1" size 6 shoe 13.5" calf and find these about an 1" short. Would have liked them to cover completely my calves. They are fairly new maybe they will stretch out a bit in length hopefully not in width. They are good quality and pretty. They stayed in place during my activities.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Toes worn out Used these sparingly during marathon training. Other socks in rotation worn far more frequently have no wear issues. These socks, worn only a few times, wore through both toes on a long training run. Would not recommend these for distance running.
