Rated 5 out of 5 by from Smartwool PHD 9 inch briefs Excellent underwear, comfortable and long enough so no ride up, unfortunately the item has been discontinued by Smartwool but you can find them online would highly recommend

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice briefs!!! I bought these for "non winter" hiking and hunting. I wanted something that wasn't TOO warm and could be used in Spring, Fall, and maybe Summer. I have been doing some Spring hikes in them and so far they feel great!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Well worth it Very comfortable and warm, live in colder climate and keeps things toasty, not sure how they will perform in the heat, tend to ride up a bit but not noticeable like shorter briefs, Bit pricy so hoping they will last, I like the seamless and no fly of this style, only downside is nylon through the underside of the crotch area and would recommend adding the merino to this area,

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Best feeling underwear material The wool underwear feel amazing against the skin! Great length and support. Only issue I have, is the waistband tends to fold over.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Mostly comfortable, but not the best fit I like the material/weave, but these tend to bunch up a bit in the crotch and I would prefer a slightly higher rise/waist

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Yes. I already have. Literally the best underwear I have ever worn. Not a situation they cannot handle. I have a pair of the 6inch but they ride up easily. However the 9in are long enough to stay down on my quads. I have 4 pair of these bad boys and could use a couple more. A single pair can go days on the trail without stink keeping pack weight low. I wear these daily to work and the durability seems wonderful with really no signs of wear after over a year of use on a couple of the pairs. The junk support it great but a fly would be nice but easily able to work around.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Superb for Multi-Day Use, but With Issues These wool blends are superb for multi-day use: no odors, no grungy feeling. But for cycling be aware that they have no pouch, merely an engineered zone of elastic, and your jewels will wander downwards since they effectively have no support. Smartwool would have a homerun if they made these with a Jockey-like pouch to secure your privates above the saddle nose. Comfort would dramatically increase.
