Opting-in to Moosejaw Rewards:
All users must accept these terms and conditions and create an account with Moosejaw to opt-in to the program and earn, accrue, retain and redeem Moosejaw Reward Dollars (MJ$). The program is FREE to join and membership is ongoing until or unless the user requests to be removed or is removed due to abuse of the program. Users can opt-in to the program while checking out on Moosejaw.com or at one of our stores or at any time within 30 days of purchase to accrue the MJ$ earned on that purchase. Once opted-in to the program, MJ$ will earn and accrue for redemption as described below until the MJ$ expire or the user leaves the program.
All information collected and used to facilitate the Moosejaw Rewards program is directly related to the program's ability to provide value to the customer. A customer opting-in to the Moosejaw Rewards program is a separate action from establishing a user profile as a result of making a purchase.
The program opt-in requirement was added on August 6th, 2019. Existing program members prior to that date must still formally opt-in and accept the terms and conditions to continue to retain, earn and redeem MJ$. Pre-existing program members that fail to opt-in prior to June 28, 2020 will be removed from the program, and any unused MJ$ will be voided. We really, really don't want to that to happen, so please opt-in or we'll feel terrible.
Leaving Moosejaw Rewards Program:
You may choose to leave the Moosejaw Rewards program at any time by logging in and clicking on the “Opt out Rewards Program” link within the My Account Summary page, Email, calling 877-MOOSEJAW (877-666-7352) or in-store with help from our employees. If you leave the rewards program, any unused MJ$ will be voided upon completion of your request.
Earning MJ$:
All items we sell are eligible with the exception of gift cards or other items specifically noted. Full-priced items earn 10% back while discounted items earn 2.5%. "Discounted items" includes items on sale or discounted via coupon code or use of MJ$. You do not earn MJ$ for shipping or tax charges, only from the item value. MJ$ expire two years after earning and are redeemed on a first-in, first out basis (in other words, we always use your oldest MJ$ that are closest to expiration).
Checking & Redeeming MJ$:
On Moosejaw.com, just sign-in on any page to see your available balance. Once signed in, you will see your available MJ$ and maximum that can be redeemed in the payment section of the checkout process. In stores, provide the email address attached to your account to learn your balance and apply to your purchase. We will also send you a monthly email that details your balance and other account activity. This is a transactional email that you will receive even if you are not subscribed to our marketing emails.
Bonus Rewards Promotions:
Every so often, we'll have special offers where you can earn bonus MJ$, like an additional 10%, 20% or 40% back. So if we are running a 50% back special offer, and you buy a regular-priced item for $100.00, you will receive MJ$10.00 in base points, and a bonus of MJ$40. These special offers may have a cap on how many bonus MJ$ you earn during the promotion, but you will always earn the base Reward Dollars. MJ$ on Gift Cards:
You don't get earn MJ$ when you buy a gift card, but you do get MJ$ when you spend a gift card. Sorry gift givers. You're welcome gift receivers.
Product Returns and MJ$:
If you return an item, we deduct the MJ$ earned on that item from your balance. If you used the MJ$ and your balance is less than deduction, then your refund is reduced by the difference.
Program Abuse:
The intent of the program is to provide our loyal customers with a way to buy great gear for less. Moosejaw reserves the right to remove any user from the program and zero out their MJ$ balance if Moosejaw determines that the user is abusing the program by buying for resale, attempting to game the program or any other reason at Moosejaw's sole discretion.

Great packIt is a great light weight pack but just a bit small for my typical needs. I wish I would have went with the next size up. It's perfect for an overnight or weekend but maybe not for a week long trip.

the dream of connoisseurs of universal equipment hConclusions. It seems that with the Sierra Designs Flex Capacitor 40-60, the dream of connoisseurs of universal equipment has come true.
If you are just starting to lighten your equipment, the Flex Capacitor is a good choice, because it will still hold everything you have and withstand the loads placed on it. And when your equipment is reduced in volume, tighten the front slings and get a wonderful and, at the same time, light (1250 g) backpack.
If you usually go to the mountains for a few days - a week, but in the future think about longer trips or expeditions and doubt whether you will have enough backpack for 40-50 liters, Flex Capacitor will again be a good solution. Because +20 liters at any time.
Do you often go to the mountains on your own, but from time to time you take your children with you and dream of extra volume in your backpack? Flex Capacitor again.
Do you want to fly with hand luggage and do not want to buy a separate small backpack, which then have to cling to the outside? And here is the Flex Capacitor.
In my opinion, Sierra Designs Flex Capacitor 40-60 is a great universal backpack with excellent weight and load, good strength, thoughtful details, good design and a good price for all these benefits.
But if your loads constantly exceed 15 kg, I would advise to look in the direction of Osprey Atmos AG. Fill both backpacks with your weight in your favorite store and determine which one will be more convenient for you. Or, take the Flex Capacitor for a test in our #BankEquipment and play with it to your heart's content in real camping conditions.
Advantages: incomparable transformer from hand luggage to 60 liter monster with perfect adjustment of the center of gravity, transformation does not require effort and time, extremely easy for the loads specified by the manufacturer, practical and beautiful design, large pockets on a belt, big side pockets with reasonable zoning of fabrics, large pocket on the strap, a large margin of safety in fabrics and accessories, good price.
Disadvantages: it takes time to get used to the lack of a front elastic pocket, no reinkaver, you should improve the pullers on the runners, I miss the inner pocket on the valve.

Solid PackGot this pack for a short trip in the eastern sierras. It did a fantastic job with all the weight and never felt too heavy. All my gear was able to fit with room to spare. Loved the front water holders though I'd recommend softer plastic bottles for it. Overall a great pack.

Flexible packSeems like a great pack. Purchased for a thru hike that I haven’t gone on yet so I haven’t gotten too much time with it. But it’s comfortable when loaded. Plenty of ventilation on the back and the pockets are nice. Very cool that you have freedom to go between two different sized bags. Frame and hip belt are both removable for an even lighter pack for a quick day hike.

a review that has purchased both the old and new mI thought it was just a simple color.
There were many revisions in the previous version.
The main fabric has been changed.
Gray is more stiff than the new black.
The new model was softened with a lower Dyer thread.
According to Andrew Skurka, who developed the product, the new fabric has improved tensile strength compared to the old version.
The number of water bottle pockets has increased and the material of mesh has changed.
The mesh pockets that were only on the right side of the backpack shoulder strap ran on both sides.
Messi's material has also been changed to a lighter material.
In addition, we added a part that holds the string to improve the fact that it was not handled well when using 40 liters.
I thought it was just a change of color and a sale, but a lot of the improvements have been made.

Lightweight and SecureOrdered this bag for a hiking trip and it was the most comfortable bag of my group. It is very lightweight which was a concern when I unboxed it but the material is durable (just keep sharp objects from poking at it!). I was able to secure/compress the contents of my pack using the many straps on the face of the bag- nothing shook around inside as I hiked. This makes it much easier to keep balanced and feel in control when hiking.
The interior of the bag is spacious but it is essential my one big open compartment. This is where the compression straps come in.
The light weight of the pack is excellent but I packed clothes in/around items with rough/sharp edges to avoid any punctures or cuts to the thin-but-durable feeling material.
If you pack smart and like a light/med weight camp setup this bag will be very comfortable. I carried around 30 lbs of community camp gear for 8-10 miles per day and the bag was comfortable. Can’t speak for more weight than that. The internal frame is small but helps prevent the back strain I’ve experienced with frameless bags.

Updated Straps Look goodWhile the older version’s notorious weak point were the volume straps, the construction on this looks really solid. I look forward to getting out on the trail with it.
Is there any schedule that M/L torso with M/L waist belt will be restocked again?

Is there a torso length and waist circumference size guide?

Thanks for reaching out! Looks like we really dropped the ball on this listing. I will get that size guide added ASAP. In the meantime, below are the measurements:
Torso Size S/M = 16" - 19"
Torso Size M/L = 18" - 21"
Hipbelt Size S/M = 29 - 32"
Hipbelt Size M/L = 32 - 35"
The size options are torso first and then hipbelt. IE: size option S/M - M/L correlates to a Small/Medium torso with a Medium/Large hipbelt. I hope this info helps!

It is incredibly confusing but you are correct. The sizes are displayed 'Torso/waist' I'll work with our team to see if we can figure out a better way to communicate that.
The Sierra Designs Flex Capacitor 40-60 Pack is somewhat unique letting you choose the size on both harnesses, it really helps to ensure a good fit on all bodies.
