Rated 5 out of 5 by from far exceeded expectations I recently "lost" my 30L Baja dry bag, pinned between a tree and a gravel bar in a moderately-moving current at ~20-30cm depth. We made a few rescue attempts over the next 30 hours, before leaving it as lost. It was found, ~50km down stream, 8 days later. Considering the waterproof description states "withstands quick submersions", I was expecting everything to be completely waterlogged. However, the contents at the top were only slightly damp, and at the bottom, contents were dry. I was amazed!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Durable - Even kids can't rip these I own at least a dozen of the Baja Bags.... Most are the 55 L bags. I take my now college-age boys and friends on multiple five day long canoeing / kayaking trips each year. We put our canoes and kayaks on our custom trailer that also holds these full bags and all of our other gear, which is exposed to rain while we travel to other states. I have had some of these bags for over 10 years and they are all still holding up. I bought more as our groups expanded. We used these for monthly weekend campouts when the boys were in Boy Scouts. When they were younger / smaller, they would drag these across the gravel bars (much to my displeasure) but the bags always held up. We put a week of clothes and material in duffle bags as that makes it easy to slide everything out (and back in). We use some bags for compressed sleeping bags and tents. We recently bought a 30L bag to slide into the stern of our 14' kayak. Over the years, Seal Line has changed the color of the bags, which helps identify each person's bag. We use strips of color duct tape to distinguish bags of the same color. We use a clear 30L bag as our First Aid supply bag and for our solar battery charger. We keep the supplies inside a bright orange first aid bag that slides in for easy access and put that bag on top of the kayak or canoe so the solar charger gets sun during the day. There are cheaper / thinner bags, and I've thought of buying those when I've bought more, but always decided to stay with these durable bags as we are on gravel bars most of the time. I've not bought the newer bags with the air purge valves, as we leave air in so the bags float when someone flips a canoe (which happened a couple times before everyone was experienced and unfortunately in 2017 when a tree fell across a rapid literally seconds after one of the canoes entered the chute). We also use the 55L bags when we go motorcycle touring. We just strap them sideways on the back seat. I've not found a better product for our use.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from May Be Good, Except One Thing I had been reading/watching reviews on many dry bags, and came to the conclusion that the Baja was a very durable and waterproof bag. I ordered it up, but when I got it, one thing made me return it: It comes with one of those cancer/birth defect warnings. I would say that if that label doesn't bother you, buy this bag. If, like me, it does bother you, look for a different bag. I have owned other SealLine dry bags and really like them, so I would recommend the brand, just not this bag. You may just want to inquire about any possible warnings that go along with the bag you want if that is something concerning to you.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from What Goes Around, Comes Around When I was 11 I was sent to a canoe tripping camp and purchased a Baja 30L which carried everything I needed for 14+ day canoe trips except my toothbrush. Fast Forward ~15 years: That original Baja is still working, still seals and was used as a "large item" deck bag on a 8 day kayak trip in Glacier Bay National Park. I also purchased several 20L Bajas for this trip as they would fit into my hatches better. Would recommend.
