Thanks for the question! Both boots are quite similar, with just a handful of differences. The ZANSKAR GTX is an in between backpacking & day hiking boot. The R-EVOLUTION PLUS GTX is a trekking & backpacking boot that is on the borderline of being a technical boot. The ZANSKAR has a Vibram® Biometric outsole - which will handle week-long trips. The R-EVOLUTION has a Vibram Driade outsole - which was designed to adapt to a variety of surfaces (trails, mountains). The ZANSKAR also has Micro-pulley laces, memory foam around the ankles, and Nubuck Leather Italian construction. The R-EVOLUTION features "SCARPA Sock-Fit XT" - which will reduce bulk due to its fit. It also offers memory form for comfort, and control when crossing various terrain. The R-EVOLUTION is made of Calf Leather. Both boots offer a Gore-Tex® – Performance Comfort lining. In terms of weight, the R-EVOLUTION weighs one ounce less. I personally would lean towards the ZANSKAR, mainly because I like its bi-directional ankle flexing. Sorry for such a lengthy answer. I hope this answer helps a little!
