Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love these shoes! I love these shoes. This is my second pair after I wore my first pair out over nearly 10 years of extensive use. They fit true to size, feel great, and don’t need any breaking in. I bought my first pair on a hiking trip in Iceland. I logged nearly 100 km in them in the first week with no pain or blisters. They are my go to for all but the most rugged of hiking. Light, solid, great traction, pack easily for air travel. Can’t say enough about them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Durable and comfortable Been a great shoe so far, no issues. It’s comfortable and looks great. Hard to be at a Scarpa. I’ve got them dirty a few times and they’re easy to clean and look new afterwards. The only drawback is they aren’t as waterproof as other shoes in the same category. With the laces to the end, you do get some moisture coming through if you’re wearing them in the rain or snow/slush.

If you are looking for a shoe that you can walk & hike in (in any weather) these are perfect!! You can wear them for hours and your feet never hurt. Best ever!’

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for neuropathy! I have neuropathy in my feet and have been unable to find a pair of walking shoes that are comfortable for a days worth of walking until now. My wife had read about Scarpaand bought herself a pair for a trip to CA that has a lot of walking & hiking. I ordered myself a pair and took them to CA and am thoroughly impressed. My feet slightly hurt by the end of the day and I did not have to take multiple breaks. I would like a higher boot for hiking but these were great for trail walking. Great quality and workmanship. My wife is slightly bothered by the laces near her toes but my feet are fatter so I didn’t feel anything there.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great shoes, a couple minor issues Took these handsome puppies out of the box, laced them up and went for a fall backpacking trip. My MO is to camp in one spot for a couple of nights and go for an adventurous scramble or two, returning to camp to eat, sleep, etc. So: Pros - they fit nicely (my feet do well with the Scarpa last, they are long and narrow); sticky soles; just stiff enough to be nice and agile. Cons: The rand at the toe is already starting to separate on one side - easy to repair so far, but makes me wonder how durable they will be; the lacing system is a little primitive and needs to be adjusted every time I put them on. Overall, nice shoes but they require a bit of attention and maintenance.

Do they have any spots that rub on foot or toes awkwardly? I have a problem with seams rubbing on my big toe.

Hey, BigToeGuy - I am pretty certain no manufacturer sets out to make a product that purposely irritates your toe, but maybe I'm wrong? Maybe they just really hate your toe! What has your toe been up to to garner such wrath from shoes?! That being said, two things about this shoe may just be the end to the vengeance against your feet! The first, this shoe has been rumored to run a wee bit wider than normal, so your toes won't be all squished up in to any seams and, second: the lacing system going ALL the way down to the tippy-top of your toes which means you have way more customization to help alleviate hot spots. Hope these shoes are the shoes for you!

I need a men's 6.5-7 what size does that equate to?

Hey there! Thanks for reaching out to us! Out of all the shoes that we carry that share the same name with a cocktail....this is my favorite! As for sizing, it's fairly simple, and I'm glad to help. A US size 6.5 will equal a Scarpa size 39. For US size 7, you'll need a Scarpa size 39.5. Hope this helps you out!

I have a slightly older version of these shoes. The sole “squeaks” whenever I walk on a smooth tile or other hard, smooth surface. It is really annoying and has prevented me from wearing them to work. Has anyone experienced this with this version?

Hey Andy, thanks for the question! So we took out a pair of these shoes, walked around the warehouse, tried to squeak...not a peep. I'm not sure what their noise output will be like in a year or so, but right away, they should be pretty quiet. I hope this helps!

Have struggled to find a shoe that has the flexibility to adhere to the width of my feet. Due to the laces running all the way to the toe I am assuming the width is adjusted through the loosening of the lace? How do they run compared to standard width?

Hey there, I've been reading a bunch of reviews and some people with wide feet have great luck with these shoes. The Scarpa lacing system lets you loosen up areas where your feet might need a little more room. Most people say they feel awesome right out of the box, but the leather does stretch out so I think after a few wears these would mold to your foot nicely!

I have seen 3 versions: Mojito, Mojito GTX, and Mojito leather. Are all 3 versions waterproof or just the GTX?

Adidas I wear a sz10... Asolo a 10 1/2. Which size is comparable to these??

Hey there Oldfoot, good question! Between a 10 and 10.5 should put you right at 43.5, unfortunately comparing fit between brands is pretty tough, especially without a specific style to go on. This is a more relaxed option than Scarpa though and should be a closer fit to your street shoes rather than heavy hiking boots. I hope this helps!

Does the mojito provide enough traction on snowy/icy sidewalks? Is it not too cold to wear in winter?

Hey Julian, Thanks for the question. This shoe has good grip for moderately wet surfaces, but we wouldn't recommend it for icy or very wet conditions as it will not be able to fully grip. These shoes are not constructed with any special insulation, so when wearing these you would feel about the same as you would wearing standard gym shoes in the same conditions, warmth-wise.
