Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love the colors and the new fit! Love this new Speedcross 6. Finally a Speedcross in great colors. I have worn Speedcross 3, 4, 5 and now 6. The 6 is my favorite so far. It has a wider toe box so it is super comfortable even hiking long distances. Keep good, exciting and bright colors coming for women!

The Speedcross 6 runs much wider than the previous versions, I'm very disappointed! No matter how tight I cinch the laces, the toe box is too wide & my foot slides. Hope the next version will be a return to the old fit.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Very limited usability The stiff rubber in the tread are so big and knobby, they dig into your feet if you walk or run on any kind of rock. You can feel each knob in your foot sole if a knob hits a rock. The upper is minimal and flexible, so if the trail is slanted, the upper does not support your foot from sliding in that direction, unless you really tighten the laces to an uncomfortable level. They are described as "mixed terrain" but because of the above, they are really only good for flat terrain of mud or grass with no rocks. It is very disappointing because they feel very comfortable on carpet, cement (i.e. where you try them on), but on any real trail they are useless. Other than that, they have a cushioned sole, good arch support, and a medium to wide toe box.

All of my other Speedcross have bungi-type non-lace closure system, does this shoe have that?

HOW to MEASURE

1. Place a sheet of paper on the floor and against a wall.

2. Make sure you are wearing the same socks that you would normally wear with this type of shoe.

3. Wearing these socks, stand on the sheet of paper with your foot perpendicular to the wall and your heel against the wall.

4. Then use a pen to draw a line just in front of your big toe. Repeat for both feet and take the longer distance to determine your size.

5. Using a ruler, measure the distance between the wall and the line you drew to find your size.

6. Find this measurement in Inches in the size chart above.
