Rated 1 out of 5 by Jherron from Tongue ripped out Bought a pair of these from a reputable retailer and wore to work, in retail flat floors etc. To help break them in before my holiday in 3 days. After 1 day the tongue just ripped out of them. Thought paying fairly dear for a shoe that the quality would've been alot higher than this, there no way it could've been wear and tear as it ripped from the inside of the shoe. Wouldn't recommend to anybody

I’ve had numerous Solomons and it worked out perfect wear is great however these Solomons caused blisters in the back of my heels so I would not recommend them. The colour lining wore prematurely all the rest of the shoe is great fantastic!

I already have the boot in the same model that gives good ankle support but needed something lighter for the summer when out dog walking. These do the job very nicely - much, much better than standard trainers or budget boots. They give me confidence to walk up and down hills of all surfaces when being pulled around by my Boxer. On the website it advices ordering a size larger. I went on chat to confirm and was advised to order a HALF size larger - not a full size. The website still suggests a size larger at time of writing. The half size larger than normal fits me perfectly. No laces to tie - just pull firmly until comfy then tuck the loose lace into the pocket at the top of the tongue. I've not yet discovered how to replace these if they break. So far used in all weathers (a dog gives you no choice, you gotta go!) and everything, so far, is Tickety Boo!

HOW to MEASURE

1. Place a sheet of paper on the floor and against a wall.

2. Make sure you are wearing the same socks that you would normally wear with this type of shoe.

3. Wearing these socks, stand on the sheet of paper with your foot perpendicular to the wall and your heel against the wall.

4. Then use a pen to draw a line just in front of your big toe. Repeat for both feet and take the longer distance to determine your size.

5. Using a ruler, measure the distance between the wall and the line you drew to find your size.

6. Find this measurement in Inches in the size chart above.
