Rated 4 out of 5 by from An overall durable, comfortable trail runner I bought these shoes as my go-to for fore caddying and running all around a mountainous golf course here in Colorado. Overall, these shoes held up nicely for about 450 miles before showing normal wear and tear - the treads and primarily on the side mesh panels near the toe box. Other than that, no issues aside from the unique lacing system - it’s nice and quick but sometimes can be hard to get a true, snug fit in the toe-box area (though this could just be related to foot shape / size) I was a little nervous with these being my first Salomon running shoes but I really couldn’t be happier, and just picked up my second pair, the Sense Ride.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Enjoyed the shoe - disappointed in the durability I bought this shoe looking for a comfortable trail running shoe and it didn't disappoint. I never had any blisters, it didn't slip and the traction was great. However, the durability of the shoe was disappointing. The sides of the shoes began to wear through after only a couple months of usage.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great all around trail shoe I bought this shoe to replace several other pairs. This is a reasonable priced shoe with high priced features. It has performed well on all types of terrain from rocky to muddy to roads and is responsive yet still comfortable. It is small in the forefoot much like other Salomon shoes.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from First pair of, many, Salomon I'm a NCO in the Army stationed in the mountains in AZ. I use these for alot for PT road and, some, trail running. These shoes are great for the road and awesome for the light trails I go down during training. I am training for a big half in Phoenix next year so these shoes will see alot of miles between now and then. I am very satisfied with these shoes and will have to purchase another pair before the race.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love These! Have worn the Pro Max and loved them. Wanted a shoe for more technical terrain. The Pro 2’s were perfect! Not the toe room of the Max, but a great combination of lower weight/stack/enough cushion to make me feel more comfortable on rough terrain. Absolutely love them!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sexy foot enhancer Got about 40 miles on em now, and may be the best shoe for the money that Salomon makes. It’s price is at the threshold of what I'd spend on a running shoe. I'm happy I did, since this shoe just disappears on your foot (which is the best thing you can say about a shoe, honestly). Great protection, lightweight, and a sharp looking shoe that is straight up durable as all get out. Great on all terrain (slippery rocks and mud not withstanding, but then just buy cleats or rock climbing shoes you ding dongs). I look forward to putting an insane amount of mileage on these shoes. Runs a half a size small, so go up half a size (Salomon typically makes narrowish shoes).

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love them! Light, comfortable, breathable and great feel on the trails. Only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because I can already see some wear and tear on the mesh above the toe box after only about 1 month. Might take a hit on durability, but all other metrics are in the positive!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from runs small I had to return due to fit both length and width, runs very small. Would recommend but you need to get your fit in person.

HOW to MEASURE
If you are unsure which shoe size to purchase, please follow the following steps:

1. Use a shoe box or a wall with a 90 degree angle.

2. Find a sheet of paper or a sheet of cardboard, a ruler and a pen.

3. Make sure that you are wearing the same socks that you would normally wear with this type of shoe.

4. Wearing these socks, stand on the sheet of paper and place the outside of your foot against the wall or place your foot in the shoe box with you heel wedged firmly against the back.

5. Then us your pen and ruler to draw a line just in front of your big toe. Repeat with the other foot, as right and left sizes may be different.

6. Measure the distance between the wall or the side of the shoebox and the line that you have just drawn.

7. Find this measurement in Centimeters in the size chart above.
