Rewards Program Terms and Conditions
Last updated January 1st, 2020
Opting-in to Moosejaw Rewards:
All users must accept these terms and conditions and create an account with Moosejaw to opt-in to the program and earn, accrue, retain and redeem Moosejaw Reward Dollars (MJ$). The program is FREE to join and membership is ongoing until or unless the user requests to be removed or is removed due to abuse of the program. Users can opt-in to the program while checking out on Moosejaw.com or at one of our stores or at any time within 30 days of purchase to accrue the MJ$ earned on that purchase. Once opted-in to the program, MJ$ will earn and accrue for redemption as described below until the MJ$ expire or the user leaves the program.
All information collected and used to facilitate the Moosejaw Rewards program is directly related to the program's ability to provide value to the customer. A customer opting-in to the Moosejaw Rewards program is a separate action from establishing a user profile as a result of making a purchase.
The program opt-in requirement was added on August 6th, 2019. Existing program members prior to that date must still formally opt-in and accept the terms and conditions to continue to retain, earn and redeem MJ$. Pre-existing program members that fail to opt-in prior to June 28, 2020 will be removed from the program, and any unused MJ$ will be voided. We really, really don't want to that to happen, so please opt-in or we'll feel terrible.
Leaving Moosejaw Rewards Program:
You may choose to leave the Moosejaw Rewards program at any time by logging in and clicking on the “Opt out Rewards Program” link within the My Account Summary page, Email, calling 877-MOOSEJAW (877-666-7352) or in-store with help from our employees. If you leave the rewards program, any unused MJ$ will be voided upon completion of your request.
Earning MJ$:
All items we sell are eligible with the exception of gift cards or other items specifically noted. Full-priced items earn 10% back while discounted items earn 2.5%. "Discounted items" includes items on sale or discounted via coupon code or use of MJ$. You do not earn MJ$ for shipping or tax charges, only from the item value. MJ$ expire two years after earning and are redeemed on a first-in, first out basis (in other words, we always use your oldest MJ$ that are closest to expiration).
Checking & Redeeming MJ$:
On Moosejaw.com, just sign-in on any page to see your available balance. Once signed in, you will see your available MJ$ and maximum that can be redeemed in the payment section of the checkout process. In stores, provide the email address attached to your account to learn your balance and apply to your purchase. We will also send you a monthly email that details your balance and other account activity. This is a transactional email that you will receive even if you are not subscribed to our marketing emails.
Bonus Rewards Promotions:
Every so often, we'll have special offers where you can earn bonus MJ$, like an additional 10%, 20% or 40% back. So if we are running a 50% back special offer, and you buy a regular-priced item for $100.00, you will receive MJ$10.00 in base points, and a bonus of MJ$40. These special offers may have a cap on how many bonus MJ$ you earn during the promotion, but you will always earn the base Reward Dollars. Make sure to check us out on our social channels for other ways to win some extra MJ$!
MJ$ on Gift Cards:
You don't get earn MJ$ when you buy a gift card, but you do get MJ$ when you spend a gift card. Sorry gift givers. You're welcome gift receivers.
Product Returns and MJ$:
If you return an item, we deduct the MJ$ earned on that item from your balance. If you used the MJ$ and your balance is less than deduction, then your refund is reduced by the difference.
Program Abuse:
The intent of the program is to provide our loyal customers with a way to buy great gear for less. Moosejaw reserves the right to remove any user from the program and zero out their MJ$ balance if Moosejaw determines that the user is abusing the program by buying for resale, attempting to game the program or any other reason at Moosejaw's sole discretion.
Are you Sure?
Our Rewards Program is completely FREE and easy to use.
By opting out, you forfeit all the Moosejaw Rewards Dollars your currently have in your account, which is basically throwing away free money. What would your grandmother say about that? If you're 100% sure, please click "OptOut" below.
Earn 10% back on all full-priced purchases on Moosejaw.com or at our shops (2.5% for discounted items).

My Rat Terrier has a 21” girth. He is full grown. Should I purchase the small web master? His x-small front range from Moosejaw is expanded to the max. Based on the reviews, I’m interested in purchasing the web master to keep him from backing out.
Asked by: Kathy
Hi Kathy, good question! The web master should be harder from him to back out of due to the strap design. I would recommend giving the x-small webmaster a try, you don't want it to make it any easier for him to back out of by buying a bigger size. If you decide you do in fact need a different size, we can do a super simple return and exchange for you! I hope this helps!

My one puggle is very round LOL and backs out of every harness I've ever gotten I've spent so much money is this good for a dog that can pull out of harnesses by backing up
Asked by: Deby0316
Hey there! Well, now you do know we want to see this rotund lil creature of yours!! Please send us an email or instagram shot of your round doggo!!
That being said, Ruffwear says specifically this: "A supportive, multi-use dog harness built for maneuvering and assisting dogs up and over obstacles as well as working dogs. Helps prevent dogs from backing out or escaping from the harness"
Of course, your determined dog might just be the beast that proves them wrong, but given that this is a 5 point harness, even Houdini might struggle to get out of it. If for some reason the puggle DOES escape, contact us and we'll help you with a free return. If yoru baby DOESN'T you need to give a great review AND pictures.
Well, pictures need to happen either way.

I have a 12 1/2 yr old Airedale female who is now experiencing neuro-muscular issues w/her back legs. How do I measure her for the Ruffwear Web Master Harness? She will have to wear it all the time except at night.
Asked by: Candy
Hey there, Candy!
We know you want to get your Airedale into the right harness so she'll be comfortable, so here is some information from Ruffwear to help you measure your dog for the proper fit:
Length - Refers to the length of the coat from the center back neck to the center of your pup's lower back.
Neck - The neck refers to the neck opening circumference.
Dog's Girth - To measure girth, measure around the widest part of Fido's rib cage.
I hope this helps! If you need more assistance with this, feel free to reach out to us on Live Chat: https://bit.ly/2w2bUTm.

Where is the second leash attachment point? I see the aluminum one. Is the second one on the chest or behind the handle?
Asked by: Mike
Hey Mike, thanks for asking. The second leash attachment point is the loop of webbing that is located on the top of the harness behind the handle. Ruffwear mentioned that most users prefer the aluminum leash attachment point, but that some need either a second attachment point or prefer to have it behind the handle for either personal reasons or to aid their cute li'l doggies with mobility problems. I hope this helps and please pet your dog for me.

Hey guys - my dog's girth is 27in which is right inbetween a SM and a MED, which would you recommend getting?
She is about 48lbs.
Asked by: Agatha
Hey Agatha, great question! I would go for the medium in this situation, always better to be able to strap it tighter than run the risk of being to small. I hope this helps!

I have a 12 yr old corgi, 25lb, girth 22 inch around widest part of chest. I'm needing to support him for getting up and down the stairs in our home. Any measurement I can take to make sure last strap doesn't hit privates? Thanks.
Asked by: corgilover
Hey, Corgilover!
Great question. We reached out to our friends at Ruffwear, who said there actually is an easy way to figure this out.
Based on the measurements you gave us above, Ruffwear said your dog would be in between the XS or S sizes for this harness. To figure out where the harness will hit, they said you could just measure along your dog's back to see where the length of the harness will hit, and then go directly down from there to know where it will reach on his underside.
The XSmall measures 7.9 inches across the back, and the Small measures 9.25 inches. They said if you're really unsure which size to choose, then go with the smaller one to keep the strap out of a sensitive area.
I hope this helps!

I have a Whippet-Basrenji tripawd missing a front leg (including scapula). Other harnesses rotate on the torso so the leash pulls from the right (amputee side) and this is uncomfortable. Will this harness be more likely to remain in position in the body?
Asked by: Pattysaurus
Hey, Pattysaurus!
Great question, and we think you'll love the answer. We reached out to our friends at Ruffwear, who said that this would be a great harness for your tripawd, as it is widely used by three-legged dogs.
This harness has an extra strap at the waist that helps hold it into place. And, while all five of the straps on this harness are adjustable, three of the straps are located around the chest area, so you'll really be able to make sure the harness remains in position without pulling and causing discomfort.
I hope this helps!

I have a Maltese who has backed out of her harnesses quite a few times. Her girth measures 16”, recommendation for her? XXS? Is there a length to these as well? Thank you
Asked by: Kali escapes
Hey Kali escapes!
Great question! Per the size guide shown, a 16" girth would best be suited for XXS in this particular harness. There is no required length measurement for the fitting of these harnesses, but have no fear! If you're not 100% happy with the harness, we have an awesome return policy at https://www.moosejaw.com/content/returns!
