Where do I find the rest of the pieces needed to complete this roof rack system. I read the other ? And typed in the item# and it said it could not be found. I want to be able to find a purchase a rack set up and get it ordered asap.

Asked by: Jason
Great question! Unfortunately, we do not currently sell the Quick Mount Legs that are needed to complete your system. They can be purchased directly from Rhino-Rack and come in 2 or 4 -packs. I included links for both versions below. I hope this helps and I apologize for the confusion! https://bit.ly/2L5tXuW https://bit.ly/2uh5UBS

So this is just the 4 mounts, without the bars?

Asked by: Jess
Hey, Jess! Correct, these are just the internal backing mounts used to fit a Quick Mount RLT600 legs onto a canopy. The Quick Mount legs are sold separately.

Asked by: Barry
Hey there Barry, good question! I just want to make sure that you know, these are just the mounting units. The bars are not included! Sorry, but I hope this helps!

In the item description it says it's perfect for bars as it contains the mounts. Are the mounts also called legs? If I order this product what else will I need to complete the system? I'm trying to find something for a canoe application.

Hey! I am often fascinated by how complicated roof rack systems and accessories are. Between the terminology and the 3000 different accessories / fit kits required to put 2 crossbars up on a roof is mind boggling. For this particular system, all this kit does is provide internal backing mounts used to fit a Quick Mount RLT600 leg onto a cap/topper. You would still need the Mount Legs (RLT600)

I'm confused. Does fit regular six-foot such as a Dodge Ram 1500? Is it a kit including the top rails included in the pic? Does it come with the mounts needed to fasten it down. Very vague descriptions.

Asked by: LeRoy
Great question! This is just a set of four internal backing mounts. Unfortunately, it is not a kit and the top rails are not included. It does come with a foam pad that can be cut to size so the mounts won't damage the paint of your canopy. I apologize for the confusion. I will get that product description updated ASAP!

My camper shell is elevated higher towards the back of the shell then in the front, would this system still be functional if I put one crossbar in the middle of the shell and one in the back

Asked by: Gunner
Hey Gunner! It honestly depends on what you are planning on hauling/carrying (weight and balancing), and how far apart the mounts are spaced. I don't want to say yes one way or the other without knowing more specifics. A good resource is Rhino-Rack's instruction manual for the QM Cap/Topper Mounts: http://vpm.cdn.rhinorack.com.au/Instructions/Parts/FittingApplications/QMCM01-QMCM02.pdf Sorry I can't be of more help!
