In temps from -25 C to -10 C this thing was beyond ocmfortable. I sized up to a large to fit over my softshell or hardshell. For that purpose I found the sleeve cuff to be a bit tighter than ideal but it does fit really nicely under a gauntlet mitt.

Very Very disappointed that a jacket at this price point has not lasted half the time as a jacket from an 'inferior' brand I bought 4 years ago.

The colour was as per the website which often is not the case with other manufacturers. This jacket is full of great features, and the zips are incredibly easy to open and close. Looking forward to wear this jacket time and time again. The quality of this item means I am now looking at adding either the Zanskar or Kangri GTX jacket and trousers to my gear.

Well worth the extra money for the extra warmth, its a perfect fit and an excellent outer layer. The Deep Ink colour looks amazing and this jacket is perfect for day to day wear and will replace my now older microlight jacket.

What is the length of the back on the Men's Rab electron pro?

Hi guys. Going to use jacket for backpacking, hiking, and skiing. Would you go with the Rab Electron Pro or the Microlight Alpine jacket?

Hey there! Based on the activities listed, I would go with the Pro for the windproof feature. It also has a higher down-fill power if you plan to be in colder conditions. If you get too warm you could always wear lighter layers underneath. I hope this helps!
