Rated 5 out of 5 by from Only Type of Shorts You'll Ever Need I've worn Prana Stretch Zion Shorts (and pants) for several years and they are now the only shorts in my wardrobe. You'll never need a different type of shorts - Stretch Zions are durable, good-looking, very comfortable and mobile, they fit incredibly with the adjustable waist strap, they have an enormous carrying capacity (you can carry whole water bottles in the pockets) and they're even somewhat hydrophobic to protect against the occasional spill! A great, reliable choice for almost any shorts-wearing scenario.

They look nice enough to teach in, durable and breathable enough to bike/climb/hike in, and move well enough to workout in. I prefer the traditional cargo pocket on both legs but one is better than none.

They are extremely comfortable and the extra pocket is nice when out on a hike. The fit is nice and not baggy. The integrated belt is nice too for those summer weight fluctuations. I pretty much live in Prana Stretch Zion bottoms.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Flexible fit Great range of motion with no restriction and fast drying. True to size. Look great for casual wear and have become my primary go to for trail running. Used in the Bighorn 50 miler with no discomfort or chafing. Do not need the adjustable waist band so it gets cut off. No need for a belt but it does have loops. This is my tenth short and still have the others to use.

I am not sure what size to order for my son. He has a pair of the stretch shorts that he loves, The size on the tag says 32W x 9L. Can you help me? Thanks!

Hey there, Thanks for reaching out to us! Did you know that 'prana' is the Sanskrit word for 'life force'? In English, that word would be 'beer', amiright?!?! Bwahahahahaha!! Anywhooo....I double checked on the sizing of this, and the inseam will be 12" for every pair. I would suggest getting a size 32. Hope this helps you out! Hugsies.

How big is side pocket?  Big enough for cell phone?  Any cell phone pocket shorts?

Hey Timbo! The side pocket is not that gigantic. My S8+ is a bit too tall for them. If you have a normal sized phone and not a phablet like the Galaxy S8+ or iPhone +, the pockets will be suitable.

PANT WAIST: Measure where you like your pants to sit at your waist. Subtract 2" from your waist measurement to determine your waist size.

INSEAM: Grab your favorite pair of jean/pants. Measure the inseam starting at the crotch seam to the bottom of the pant leg (round to the nearest 1/2 inch).
