Durable Water Repellant
DWR (Durable Water Repellent) is a coating that is applied to fabrics which makes them water-resistant, or hydrophobic. A DWR finish doesn't interfere with breathability, which makes it perfect for adverse conditions in the backcountry.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it Great everyday coat for the unpredictability of new england weather. Loved that it was packable enough to bring on trips. Got a lot of compliments on the color too!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great coat! Love this coat! It's well-made, stylish, feels good on, and fits well. The coat is classy without being boring or common. I have several Patagonia coats & the quality on this one is consistent with the others. I ordered a size up and it fits perfectly. I wish it were a little warmer, as I spend a lot of time outside in the winter. Otherwise, love the coat!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great coat and even better customer service! The coat is very warm, yet still lightweight and packable. It does fit a little small through the shoulders so I would recommend buying one size up.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great parka I bought this as a surprise gift for my wife, who needed a new parka, and she loves it. Perfect weight for Georgia winters. The color is a big hit- a really unique shade of green.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Looking Jacket I recently bought this jacket for my wife and she absolutely loves it. The uniqueness of the blue color really sets this jacket apart. Love it

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great jacket, fit didn't work for me This is a great quality jacket. I ordered the Navy Blue and really loved the style of it. The only issue I had was that I am really between a M and L and therefore the L I ordered was really too big and did nothing for my figure. The sleeves were also a little long on me. For reference I am 5'4, 34D,155lbs.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Comfortable and versatile I love this parka but beware - it runs small. It is lightweight, but yet warm and can be worn with a number of different looks. I live in Minnesota so having a versatile jacket that isn't bulky for varying outdoor activities and sporting events is a must.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from short sleeves! I bought this to replace a mid-thigh length down coat that is shedding its feathers. I loved the jacket - light but seemed like it would keep me warm in Virginia winters...unfortunately, had to send it back as the sleeves were really short. I have slightly long arms but patagonia smalls usually fit. Ended up being happier with the transitional parka

Hello, If I plan to wear big sweaters/layers under this coat do you recommend going up a size? Thanks!

Asked by: Erica
Hey there, thanks for reaching out to us! First off, let me say, I think your question is RADalie!!! (No applause. No laughter. No response) Pfft. Fine. I'll go straight the answer....So, it's really more a question of how you wear your coats. If you wear them a bit close/tight, them most definitely size up! However, if you wear them big, little looser...then I think you'll be fine going with the size you normally buy. Hope this helps you out!!! #imhilarious

Does this jacket pack easily? Or is it still fairly bulky if wanting to pack?

Asked by: Lovely Leah
That's a great question! I actually have this Parka and it packs extremely small since it is not too thick of a jacket to begin with. Unfortunately, none of the Patagonia Parka's stow into their pockets because they are too long. Down jackets will always be the most pack-able. I similar looking item would be the Fiona Parka. I included a link below. Hope this helps!

Asked by: AliLem
Hey there AliLem, Thanks for your question. Yes, the Radalie has a two-way zipper. Hope this helps!

Is the Carbon color a green shade? Is the Forge Grey a true grey or is it almost black?

Asked by: SusieG
Thanks for the question! The color Carbon is a dark Olive Green shade. Forge Grey is pretty dark. I would say when worn with Jeans it comes off as almost Black, but when worn with Black pants (or anything dark) it will be Grey. If that makes sense. I hope this helps a little!

Hi I usually wear a size 6.  I use a fleece under my coat.  However I wore a M size in the North Face Metropolis Parka.  I am wondering if this coat runs small?

Asked by: Kdroldan
Hiya Kdroldan, thanks for your question! If you are a size 6, I would suggest the Small... but you might want to size up to a Medium if you need more wiggle room. Hope this helps!

Just curious how warm and thick this jacket is compared to say the down sweater? Thanks!

Asked by: Lcm423
Thanks for the question! I would say the Radalie Parka is more similar to the Nano Puff - in terms of thickness. For warmth, I think closer to the Better Sweater- since it has 150 grams of insulation. The higher the gram number, the warmer the garment. Hope this helps!
