The Patagonia Men's Tres 3-in-1 Parka is a versatile winter jacket for a wide range of cold weather. Hit the city streets with this genius parka, covering everything from cold and wet to cold and dry and even some inbetweener type weather. Two jackets with three ways to wear them, start with the first and you've got yourself a waterproof jacket that falls to mid-thigh, constructed from H2No® Performance Standard 2-layer polyester fabric. The hood is removable so you can go with or without and not just as a fashion statement. Zippered hand pockets hold onto your gloves and a chest pocket will dutifully hang onto your phone. The inner jacket zips in and out of the first, and provides cozy warmth in the form of a down insulated jacket. The 600 fill power duck down is toasty and ready to insulate, falling to the hip so it won't hang low below the shell. HEY YOU GUYS! That down jacket totally stuffs into it's own pocket for storage in your backpack, or maybe your briefcase (it'd be cool if you carried a briefcase). Wear one jacket, wear both jackets, I won't judge you.

Products on Sale are Discontinued Styles or Colors.

Durable Water Repellant
DWR (Durable Water Repellent) is a coating that is applied to fabrics which makes them water-resistant, or hydrophobic. A DWR finish doesn't interfere with breathability, which makes it perfect for adverse conditions in the backcountry.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The best and only coat you'll need. I purchased this for both of us for outdoor excursions in Iceland in February -- extreme weather. The Tres kept both of us warm and dry in freezing sleet outdoors over the course of several hours of total exposure. The outer dried reasonably fast on a towel warmer at the airbnb. I had considered just buying separate down insulating jackets and waterproof outers, but could not find another waterproof outer coat for men that was over the hips. This is the last coat you'll ever need. In black, it's stylish enough to wear for even professional reasons. The small details that really matter when you're getting pelted with wind -- high neck, pull close hood, sealed pocket zippers -- are worth every penny.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wonderful parka! I purchased this about a month ago, and I’m super happy. Dressy enough for client meetings and warm enough for Michigan winters. I’m a large guy, but the guy is great. Long sleeves, comfortable hood - a touch tight with the inner jacket loose, but great when all zipped together.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Gray is the new black I was looking for a jacket that was both functional (warm and waterproof), casual, but could look good with a sport coat (long enough). A triple-win. Oh, and gray is the new black!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Jacket! I bought this coat a few weeks ago and it is amazing! It’s perfect with the multiple jackets in one for Michigan with weather that is freezing in the mornings and warms up by the afternoon.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Stylish Mild Winter Jacket Nice, stylish parka for mild winter weather. Works well for cold days with layering, but would recommend a heavier jacket for the Chicago days in the low teens and 20s.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Jacket! I bought this jacket about a month ago and have been warm ever since. I live in northern MN and enjoy having our typical 9 months of winter a year... I've had down jackets and waterproof shells, but this is my first 3 in 1 and I don't think I'll ever go back. The zipper on the outer shell was difficult to engage at first but has broken-in a bit since and I don't think it will become an issue. The arms are tighter than other winter coats I've had but I think I like the style better than baggier sleeves. The longer length of the parka is also more comfortable for me than 'regular' sized jackets. All in all, it's a fantastic product and Patagonia has always been high quality for me.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great especially if you're tall My husband is over 6'2" and 185 lbs with long arms. Hard to find coats that come in tall sizing but this one worked great. He says it's warm (we live in CT) and is nice enough looking that he can wear it to the office. Looks very well-made. An expensive coat but I think it will last many years.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very good coat!! I had an awesome coat from another brand but it looked too casual so I decided to try this parka and I like it! It is not only 3-in-1 which makes it very versatile but has really nice cut to the coat. On top of that, it is waterproof and has removable hood so again, very flexible. Overall, I like it a lot but I haven't had a chance to wear it since the weather has been too warm. As long as the duck down jacket performs as it should, I don't see any issue with this purchase. Got a killer deal at Moosejaw which was nice not to drop $500+

Does either the outer or inner jacket have weather closures at the cuffs?

Asked by: Charles
Hey there, The outer jacket in the Patagonia's Men's Tres 3-in-1 Parka has adjustable snap closures. The zip out liner jacket attaches to the shell via the front zipper and snapped loops at the cuffs and neck. I hope this helps.
