Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Backpacking Shirt Took it on two multi-night backpacking trips and absolutely love it. Does everything I needed it to. Kept me cool and protected in the sun and warm when it got a bit colder. I appreciated the sleeve fasteners and the generous, easy-to-access front pockets. Didn't smell after a few days and seems tough against tear.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Fit/Great Transitional long/mid sleeve Purchased for 23 year old son in a less formal office. The shirt irons up easily. Or wear as it comes out of the dryer for a relaxed look. He loves the plaid. Love the transitional sleeve length. Wear full / long sleeve or roll to the snaps so adjusts to indoor temperatures and more to less formal. He is tall and the length of the shirt and the sleeves fit to size. 6'2" / large.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Smoother Fabric I have two El Rays from last year. Those have a row of crinkles in the fabric every half inch. This season the spacing is 3" which results in a much smoother look and feel to the touch. I haven't been able to evaluate yet whether fewer crinkles feels as comfortable in humid weather. But the look is much less "wrinkly" now. Fit is typical Patagonia, they target leaner builds. Med worked for me @5'10", 33" sleeves and waist.
