Durable Water Repellant
DWR (Durable Water Repellent) is a coating that is applied to fabrics which makes them water-resistant, or hydrophobic. A DWR finish doesn't interfere with breathability, which makes it perfect for adverse conditions in the backcountry.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect coat for fall and spring. I bought this coat for my grandson. He loves it and has worn it constantly in past month. Not quite warm enough to withstand 30s and wind, but great fall/spring jacket.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Light weight but warm Purchased for my grandson. Third year that I have bought this product (different size) but keep buying them because of there durability for a toddler. Like that it isn’t bulky that a child cannot move in like a snowsuit jacket would be.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Patagonia Baby Down Sweater - The Best! These are the best jackets. Very durable for toddlers. The jacket is light weight but still very warm. So great for little kiddos to be able to move about without being bulky. Patagonia sizing runs large bought 2T and will definitely have it next year. Child is 28 months, 23lbs. Basically a 3 season jacket for New England.

Is this a thin profile jacket ie:not puffy, packable

Asked by: Asousa84
Hiya Asousa84, thanks for your question! It is puffy due to the down content, but it is very light and packable. It compresses easily for being a "puffy" jacket. Hope this helps!

why can I fond size 18-24 months in any of these patagonia jackets for girls? It seems to go from 12-18 months straight to 2T? Are you out of that size of do they not come in it?? Thanks. Christine

Asked by: Christine
Thanks for the question! Unfortunately, Patagonia does offer the size 18-24 months. Depending on the height and weight, the size 2T might work. If your little one is wearing 18-24 months now, 2T should fit him/her by December/January. The measurement from the neck seam to the bottom of the jacket in the size 2T is 14.375 inches and the sleeve length is 18.375 inches. The measurement for the size 18M from neck seam to bottom is 13.375 and the sleeves are 17.375 inches. Hope this helps a little!

Is this considered a winter jacket for the snow? Is there a temperature warmth range for this jacket?

Asked by: Keri
Thanks for the question! Unfortunately, Patagonia does not temperature rate their products since warmth has so many variables: weather conditions, activities, own body temps, etc. With that being said, it does have 600 down-fill and that is completely appropriate for Winter. From my own experience, I would say 20 degrees or higher. I hope this helps a little!
